Better yet, simply look at all of the catholic countries in South and Central America. Look at all of the jobs and high employment rates!!!! See how people from all around the world are flocking to those counties for better lives????
I am a non-Catholic christian and I think the pope is either completely ignorant or evil. He has demonstrated ignorance with his statements about ww2 and we should have been bombing railways to save the jews. He tends to stick to his marxist ideology instead of learning and articulating facts. I guess I'll stick with ignorance for now but either way, its dangerous for a man in that position to be so clueless.

PASSIVE CIVIL DISOBEYDENCE
The nightmare we've been living is a result of your liberal, interventionist foreign policy.
Gotta hand it to you progs, you sure know how to eff things up.
Tell me, how can it be a foreign policy nightmare to point out what should be obvious, that instead of worrying about everyone else’s problem, we need to fix our own crap first? Rand Paul was spot on when he said “It’s hard to look strong from bankruptcy court” as well as “we should not be borrowing money from China to give to people who hate us and want us destroyed.”
That’s called common sense, and Rand Paul has that in spades.
After World War II, America stepped up to fill the power void left by a weakened Europe that was licking it’s wounds from 6 years of devastating war. The problem is, we clung to that role, and every progressive that came down the pike, expanded that role, and threw borrowed money overseas like it was candy in a parade. That fact has now come home to roost. We can not afford to be policemen of the world anymore, and we can’t continue to prop up failed economies and failed defense strategies of our allies, at the expense of our own economic future and security.
The party is over. Rand Paul is simply stating the obvious. Problem is, nobody in Washington DC, nor their sheeped voting base, wants to hear it.
He may be an isolationist and i don't agree with him on many things, but he is absolutely correct on this issue..you want B.O. to have the ability to use mass surveillance against you? All you need to do is put an (R) after your name and you're on his hit list.
Right on, stacie... but to be clear, neither Ron nor Rand are isolationist. Not even close. People confuse that with non-interventionist. There's a big difference.
What I don't understand is why are we borrowing money from China to give aid to China? WE do give them aid. WHY?
