My question is… So no one else in Oregon bakes wedding cakes? There are no other businesses that make wedding cakes that would love to take this couples money??? Not…a….single…one????
That is what makes this case disturbing. Any other RATIONAL human being would just try another baker. This was about teaching lessons and making a quick buck. Did this couple LOVE this baker’s work so much they felt they could force a sale???
Does this mean I get to sue the Jaguar guy when he doesn’t want to fix my Ford???
jasgorsky....I completely agree with you. This is a form of terrorism.

How is it okay for an organization (PP), which is supported by tax dollars to make a profit off of aborted baby organs, but I couldn’t sell my own kidney legally to send my child to college, or out a down payment on a poetics of real estate??… Just think about that for a minute, seems to be unrelated… But is it???
Good question. Since when is childbirth a military operation?
What they mean is that she was an active duty military officer getting care in a military hospital. You were NOT an active duty soldier when you gave birth. Only your husband was and the rule doesn't apply to you.

In high school, I used to wear my Dad’s pea coat, would someone get in my face and accuse me of Stolen Valor? What if I was wearing his boots, too? (Flight deck boots were awesome…) That being said, I still wear the pea coat I got issued…best coat I ever owned…
I think we need to look at whether this is purposefully malicious, or a finely planned deception. Sometimes, it is not.

IUDs have hormone or copper coating, these can be as bad as BCP.

Not our fault??? I’m not tree hugger, but we have been poisoning our environment for generations, and now we are purposefully poisoning our good and water supplies….as Napoleon Dynamite would say….Idiot

Glenn, maybe your staff reads these, maybe not. I was struggling with adrenal fatigue myself, however, my story is very different from yours. I tell people about it, and they look at me like I am making excuses, or making things up. Adrenal fatigue is a 20th century stress epidemic, it strikes disguised as depression, anxiety, and as physical symptoms you are experiencing. There is hope, mine came through a naturopath consultant. I have been managing my condition for about 5 years, I went from anxiety that keep me mostly housebound, and being very sedentary to running 5ks and going to college with people half my age (which in and of itself should get me a medal). I am so glad they finally have something to go on, things to explore, so you can get well.

Is anyone else wondering how she got to Cleveland????
They has been forecasting this for a WEEK!!! Some people did as they were told, they prepared. The rest either ignored the warnings, had to go on the road or lose their jobs, and some saw it as a sporting challenge…Idiots…All of them, especially the bosses who thought money was more important than their employees keeping themselves and their families safe…Shame on you!
Yes, the event was predicted, but it came in faster than predicted, more north than predicted and the temps did not rise as predicted.

I’m not going to get into details, but I am a Christian, my life is full of crap that enters without invitation, and is not easily purged. I have been let down my my church family and earthly family, and I have still managed to put my faith in my Father, and make a real attempt at attaining joy…But seriously, this is the verse that most people struggle with, really?!?!? No way…no way…I think the whole book of James befuddles people…

Just because the priest was found does not mean a miracle didn’t happen.
February 23, 2013 at 4:18pm
Here’s the thing, during trying times, people hit the bars, and other people hit the churches. People need a “spiritual refuge” somewhere, surely the government will assist in turning on the lights in the local pub, why not the church. They are both public buildings, both doing the best they can to keep the peoples’ spirits up. So, some may get saved, while others may get drunk…This is not the same thing as building or even supporting religion, it is about serving the people, and getting back to normalcy, a half destroyed church is a blight on the community and the soul.

Mrs. Obama, I though you’d be much smaller in real life?

I, for one, thinks it makes perfect sense NOT TO DRINK something you can clean an engine block with! I don’t think they should regulate it, buy sheesh people use some common sense. There has been info for years on how this stuff is slowly killing us, especially the DIET versions…Seen at Walmart, Diet Caffeine -Free Mountain Dew…!?!?!? Why don’t you just chug washer fluid for all the nutritional value it has…
Dude.... What business of yours is it what the h*ll someone chooses to drink?? Do you drink beer/booze, smoke? Why would you or anyone else think it's their business what someone puts in their bodies?? Seriously... Chill out.... No one lives forever, how about you let people live their lives the way they choose?? Dayum!
Nobody is under the illusion that soda is nutritious... but some of us do think it's delicious!
PS: Soda actually makes an engine block yucky & sticky. Beer does, too.
If your engine is dirty- try steam.
Fruit juice has as much sugar as a Pepsi. The problem is not just soda, it is the :food pyramid" endorsed by the FDA years ago that stressed carbs over protein and animal fat.
I pay my bills on time and I buy what I want with my own money, I pay taxes on what I buy. So you and anyone else who wants to tell me what I can or can't ingest can kiss off.
@ booger, yes! yes! yes! if any of you havent seen the movie Fat Head ya gotta watch it. its on netflix or hulu. its the response to the move Super Size Me. gud stufz
King Corn is another good one.
You do realize that you are going to die anyway right? Your body will shut down someday regardless of what you do or don't put into it. We all die dude it is the only thing in this life that everyone, regardless of race, religion, gender, sexual orientation or whatever category you want to mention, will have to face no matter what you do or don't do. Just butt out of other peoples business, you don't really care if they die anyway so why do you find it necessary to suggest the way that they should live. Why can't people just mind their own business?

Yes, Happy Anniversary Roe vs. Wade, for killing off one-third of my generation…We could have been great, we could have been contenders, but not only did you cull our numbers, but have nearly succeeded at convincing most of the rest us that this was all about reproductive rights and choice….You will have so much company in Hell, and they were so blind they will never figure out what actually got them there!
how true they killed how many Einstein's, Plato' (not the lame child actress) Michelangelo's,Steve Jobs, bill gates,i could go on and on.............instead we get the kardishians, and their ilk of "reality shows ......... unfortunately 333,000 times 40 = 13,320,000 just by planned(abortions)parenthood........that's just one place........sad statistic.............BUT THE LIBERALS ARE FOCUSING ON 20 KIDS...............weird huh.............
We may or may not have prevented the birth of a few people who would have been important and done something great, but we have certainly prevented the birth of many more murderers and robbers and rapists. Common sense tells us that a baby born to parents who want him and are prepared to care for him has a better chance of ending up doing something worthwhile, while a baby born to parents who never want him, but were just too stupid and irresponsible to consider the consequences of their actions is in greater danger of going down a wrong path. So, the more abortions we have, the better the ratio of good people to bums, and the better off we all are. Thank God for abortion!
XYLLIAB, Interesting concept. And if I may add, abortion is not a greater sin than adultery, theft or any other sin. It amazes me that there are so many people here who have never committed a sin. Thanks XYLLIAB for your refreshing take.

Ok, all the weak teeth and neglect BS aside…This took HOURS, and mom didn’t get concerned, just with the amount of TIME her daughter was in the chair, didn’t think to go back and see what was going on?!?! Sorry, folks, that detail alone just screams neglect…As they say, devils in the details…

The point the preacher was making was the immaturity, not the nudity. Duh!!
There was no nudity in this video. That was a rated G video.

And me know his gun was legally registered, correct, so legitimate gun control would have prevented this, right?

I am in agreement with you Betsy, only because I am more of an adult than my mother. I have rescued her time and time again, and have tried to help her get her life together, but sadly, she is like the adult children described- simply an adult child. She didn’t even actively participate in my life, until she realized how great we had it! As far as I am concerned, the door swings both ways, I am a great adult despite crappy parenting, and their are crappy adults despite good parenting.
I say,”Slap, away! Slap away”

It was meant to fail, just not the way you think…It was created to fail in the way it sucks the masculinity out of men by being forced to be constantly watching their backs, so they don’t offend women, who were given full authority to hold the males balls in their little manicured hands and squeeze…I served, just long enough to realize what the agenda really was…women don’t belong in foxholes and on ships, not because we are too weak, not buy a long shot, we are way too strong….
