  After 10 years of monogamy, I slept with another woman. It had nothing to do with her age or body. It was the respect she showed me that my wife refused to provide. Call me shallow, weak or whatever. My ex-wife was the devil incarnate. A fundamentalist Pentecostal, she was obsessed with being in charge, would pick and choose what was and wasn’t a sin based on her preferences, lectured me on a Bible she never read, played mind games with me, and was physically abusive. I worked from 11PM-7AM in the morning and went to college during the day before getting to sleep in the afternoons. Often, she would wait until I had been asleep for about 2-3 hours then come into the room, wake me up, and tell me that I’d slept enough and needed to spend time with “the family.” This went on for YEARS, yet I stayed faithful. If I came home and didn’t immediately wash dishes, she would go hours, and sometimes days, without speaking to me. When I would ask her why she wasn’t speaking to me, she’d say, “You know why.” NO! I DIDN’T KNOW WHY! Then, I would find out that she was mad over dirty dishes that she never asked me to wash. I was just supposed to automatically know through my “marital crystal ball.” I know all married women are not this manipulative, but many are, so don’t be surprised if your man strays.   Lots of anonymous “bad asses” hiding behind computers here bragging about their ability to kill fellow Americans. Strange. Having a gun and a few cans of beets doesn’t make one John Rambo. Some people here, not all, of course, have watched the original Red Dawn too many times. I read some of these “bad ass” comments and it’s no secret to me why the government is systematically keeping tabs on some of you. A few of you seem dangerous and unstable with all the braggadocio and posturing. Formulating an emergency response plan is smart; getting specific about your stockpile while flippantly stating that you will shoot another person is stupid in the extreme.

  Folks, please understand, there is nothing new under the sun here. This has been going on for 4 decades right under our noses. In the 60s, conservative men were drafted and sent to Vietnam to fight in LBJ’s war. While the conservative men were away, the looney leftist hippies took over the courts, public schools, college/universities, and the political system. Those eggs have hatched and the next generation of leftists are continuing to dutifully destroy our sacred institutions. I’m currently working on a master’s degree at a university in a very RED state, and if I submit my work from a liberal, leftist perspective, even if I don’t believe in what I’m writing, I get an “A” every time. It’s easy. So, no one should be surprised what these pseudo-Socialists are telling our kids, but you can rest assured, the them is “Hate America First.”

I’m a cop, a Second Amendment rights advocate, certified civilian concealed handgun instructor, and I’ve been politically active in my state in support of armed educators’ legislation. You have made a statement that shows your utter ignorance. You are no better than the very people you are opposing. Liberals believe that all gun-owners are evil, and you believe that all cops are anti-gun. You and they are the same. One of these days, you will need a cop, and I pray that when it matters most, they’ll be there for you, and you’ll be forced to eat your words and admit your own stupidity.

  Thank you for saying this. I’m not quite sure why everyone is so happy that gun companies are not selling to police officers in blue states. I don’t know what cops have to do with this battle. Most cops I know are STRONGLY in favor of civilian gun ownership, including “assault rifles.” There is a kindred spirit there. I’m a cop, Second Amendment activist, NRA member, Arkansas concealed handgun instructor, and I have been involved in state level politics in support of “armed educator” legislation. Cops are some of the biggest gun rights supporters in the nation, in case you’ve missed that on the news lately. If you want to support doing something worthwhile, ban Democrats from owning guns. Call them out for their hypocrisy. Punish them, not cops. Democrats are the ones taking away your rights, not the police. If I were ordered tomorrow to go house-to-house to confiscate guns, I would quit and go to work doing something else. If you want to do the right thing, find out exactly why DHS has bought up all the ammo and call your representatives. Call the White House. Jam the lines. Fight the good fight, but I assure you, your fight is not with the cops or Glock, or S&W, or Sig Sauer because they keep selling guns to cops. Your fight is with liberal, progressive Democrats who are treating you all like criminals. I can promise you, if the day when they try to disarm you all, the police will not do participate. They will stand shoulder to shoulder with you.
