  There is a dangerous fallacy that continues to circulate amongst some claiming to be “conservatives” that ought to be confronted, in no uncertain terms, dealt with, and made clear NOW.

  CONSERVATIVES don’t get “bogged down in Social Issues.” Issues such as Pro-life and Pro-family policies that oppose abortion on demand, the entire concept of “homosexual marriage,” opposition to the legalization to drugs, prostitution, and other “object” or “subject” crimes are at the very HEART of what it MEANS to be a Conservative. And there’s NOTHING “Unconstitutional” about that. It is THE position of CONSTITUTIONAL CONSERVATIVES.

  Those who hold the Socially LIBERAL ideas such as Abortion on demand, “Homosexual Marriage,” decriminalization of drugs, prostitution, etc., are NOT “conservative” in ANY way. They are LIBERALS, or they may be LIBERTARIANS — but they are NOT Conservatives, and to be SURE they are NOT “Constitutionalists.” Our Founders wouldn’t even recognize their support of such flagrantly immoral and inhumane practices — most of which WERE illegal in the Early Republic as well.

  BUT, most of these issues were dealt with at the STATE or COMMUNITY level, because it is the RIGHT of communities (STATES) to decide for themselves what constitutes their legalities WITHIN their States (with the exception of LIFE – i.e. Abortion, as Life is guaranteed in the CONSTITUTION). The Federal Constitution leaves MOST of these issues to the States. The Feds

  I don’t get the poll. 27% think McCain and Graham are RIGHT?! Here, on TheBlaze? I get the 31% who think we should abolish the Government — the circus in Washington DC is enough to drive anyone to become an Anarchist, really. But — to say that Rand Paul — and Cruz and Lee and Rubio and Scott, and…. are WRONG — and McCain and Graham are RIGHT!?

  Where do you get the figure that voter turnout in swing states was 130%? This would be massively out of line with turnout in the rest of the nation — so, where can we find the actual statistics to back this up? Hearsay won’t do. I know some precincts in PA and FL were like this. But I’ve only heard isolated examples. Please — post the site[s] where comprehensive statistics are.

  Mad — don’t believe everything you read. The Obamunists would just LOVE to turn this into a “Republicans cut spending and LOOK WHAT HAPPENED” argument. It’s hogwash. THe Obama regime and the Leftist State Department STILL had money to spend on making the Venezuelan Embassy more “Green,” and on upgrades to several of our embassies in Europe and Asia, all while leaving several of our Embassies in the Middle East — in MUSLIM countries — sorely lacking in proper security details.

  The bottom line is that the Obama regime didn’t want to “offend” their Muslim Brotherhood buddies, they didn’t care about the security of the “diplomatic” personnel. The most striking thing NO ONE is asking about, however (except Glenn Beck, sort of), is, “WHY was the Ambassador in Benghazi with one other “diplomat” and two CIA agents and NO security detail?!” Furthermore, “WHY was the Ambassador turned down when he REQUESTED a security detail within days BEFORE he was assassinated?”

  I’ll speculate where Glenn Beck can’t. Whatever Ambassador Stevens was doing with the CIA agents in tow, he needed to do totally under the radar. When it became apparent that al-Qaeda had them trapped, that they were under siege, well — a dead Ambassador and 3 other Americans became much easier to explain than whatever it was they were up to originally in Benghazi…..

  And now that I’ve said that, I feel like Julia Roberts in “The Pelican Brief.” I wonder who I can get to start

  Vaman — you are completely wrong about the Blaze editors having some kind of ulterior motive of stirring up rage at homosexuals. That’s just stupid. But then I read a response like RangerRP saying Ms. Knapp’s music was “never Christian to begin with,” and I have to say that at least SOME of the readers of the Blaze ARE as dumb as you charge.

  Iran has not attacked another nation in our lifetime?? What freaking PLANET have you been on?? Have you ever heard of the Iranian Hostage Crisis, you moron?? Do you know ANYTHING about Iran’s PROXY terrorists HEZBOLLAH?!

  The ONLY reason Iran hates Jews (“Zionists”) and Americans (“Crusaders”) is because they WILL NOT convert to their RELIGION.   I wish I believed there weren’t people who were still stupid enough to deny that we’d been to the Moon. But, there are — Just like there are people who swear the world is ruled by the “Bohemian Grove,” or according to “The Protocols of the Elders of Zion” or some other such moronic garbage.

  Oh, and the guy who accused Buzz Aldrin of being a liar and got popped in the mouth for it? Yeah — he got what he had coming to him. Harassment and false accusations kinda tick people off after a while.

  Absolutely agreed. Gov. Rick Snyder has practically handed Michigan to Obama based on voter fraud alone. A fair vote with voter ID requirements might even give Romney a chance this election cycle. But Snyder wanted to be on the “correct side” of the future Fuhrer, I suppose.

  That the Tea Party has been alerted is a good thing — but they really can’t do anything about it before the election now. That’s the nature of a betrayal like this. The Tea Party didn’t see it coming. They can PROMISE a primary challenge to this jerk when he faces re-election again (2014) — but that assumes that there will BE elections in 2014 — or for that matter, in 2012. Right now, I think there is a chance they DON’T happen….

  Critical period: from Labor Day weekend to October 15th. I look for a European economic collapse, and/or an attack on Iran by Israel and/or us — either way we will be drawn in, as will most if not all the Middle Eastern nations. That will be a MESS — and economic collapse here would become much more likely. ANd of course, with economic collapse, war with Iran and possible terrorist attacks by Iranians going on here on our soil — I WONDER what President Obama might do?

  Declare a national emergency? Maybe martial law? Possibly suspend the Constitution? “Postpone” elections?…. NO! He’d NEVER do that. Silliness. Forgive such idle speculation….
