  You don’t know what you’re talking about. They don’t make you sick and you can’t turn off what you want, when you want. They also allow your meter to be read without workers having to come on your property. They allow the power to be turned on and off remotely instead of a worker showing up. This gives much faster service when you are moving and lowers the cost.
  If I were you, I would worry more about Obama trying to bankrupt 40% or the current power supply produced by coal and at the same time attempting to move automotive power to the electric grid instead of the gas pump. This only adds up to 1 thing, “skyrocketing energy costs”. Think about it.

  Let me give kudos to Rush Limbaugh for this comment.
  If minimum wage is so good and will cure poverty, why not make it $250 and hour? Would this not eliminate the need for welfare, food stamps, school lunch program, etc etc etc?
  Ridiculous? Every time minimum wage goes up, so does unemployment rate the inflation rate, and the poverty rate. Nothing changes. Proof of that? Compare the poverty rate of today with the current minimum wage to that of the poverty rate back in 60′s before democrat president Johnson took social security out of its separate fund and put it in the general revenue so he could spend trillions on his “war on poverty”. You will find the poverty rate is about the same as it was back then.
  I think it’s time to try something besides this warn out rhetoric from the left that has proven to be a waste of time and money and start looking at some REAL solutions. Let’s try following the Constitution and get the federal government out of the welfare, retirement, health care, social services and many other areas that it has no Constitutional authority for and return these issues back to the states where they belong. Sorry, but all I heard from the sister is old tired nunsense.

  My car is plastered with anti Obama stickers and I’ve never gotten a negative response from anyone, but plenty of positive responses. I do believe I got a traffic ticket because of them though. A black cop in a small town in Tennessee.
