  • @SIRHANSIRHAN, (continued from last post) John 1:1-3, 14 says: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made… And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.” John 1 along with the verses you quoted from 1 John were written against Gnosticism… the belief that all matter (flesh) is evil; therefore Jesus (God) could not have come in the flesh b/c that would have made Him evil. You Muslims believe Jesus was sinless yet believe He came in flesh. But you don’t believe Jesus is God, b/c God can’t become flesh. 1 John condemns anybody who says Jesus is not God in flesh; therefore, Muhammad is a false prophet.

  • @SIRHANSIRHAN, I’m focusing on the comparison between Daniel & Muhammad b/c both received messages from “Gabriel.” Gabriel’s messages about the Messiah to Daniel & Muhammad are different. So who should we believe? By the way, the prophets you mention prophesied about God’s Son (Messiah) who would die for the sins of the world, & rule as King. Prophecies can be found in Genesis 22, Deuteronomy 18, Psalm 22, Isaiah 53, Jeremiah 23:5-6, & so on. After Christ’s resurrection, Jesus explained all Scripture the things concerning Himself beginning at Moses & all the prophets (Luke 24:27). And Jesus said: “For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me; for he wrote about Me” (John 5:46). Jesus was the message of the prophets, & He was also the very one who gave the message to the prophets. Jesus said: “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM” (John 8:58). How?

  • @SIRHANSIRHAN, Unlike Muhammad, when the prophets of the Bible provide their prophecies, there are times when the exact number of years that a specific event would take place is recorded. God told Abraham the children of Israel would be slaves in Egypt for 400 years (Genesis 15:13). Jeremiah accurately foretold that the children of Israel would be held captive in Babylon for 70 years (Jeremiah 25:11). These are other examples not including Daniel. I focused on Daniel b/c of Gabriel’s message, which is radically different than Gabriel’s message to Muhammad. Based from my evidence, the Quran has no authority to challenge & supersede the Bible. It had no authority to refute the crucifixion that is clearly taught in the NT. By the way, Jesus told his disciples the three times that He would be crucified & raised the on the third day (Matthew 20:17-19).

  • @SIRHANSIRHAN, Did you not read my explanation of Daniel’s prophecies? Evidently not. Those prophecies were told by Gabriel to Daniel… “history before it happened” prophecies that are detailed & specific (i.e., time). Daniel is by far more worthy as a prophet than Muhammad, b/c he predicted future events accurately just like the prophets of the OT (Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Isaiah, & others). What I found is this: Muslims & Mormons are very similar. Both claim an angel appeared to their prophet & both received a higher “correct” revelation (Book of Mormon & Quran), & the Bible has errors. The problem is what makes the prophets’ new book the divine Word of God? Prophecy is evidence, & both books fail in that category. The prophets in the OT (i.e., Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, Isaiah) have detailed & specific prophecies in their books. That’s what I’m asking for… prophecies. Are there prophecies in the Quran that show it is a divine book? So far, both Mormons & Muslims can’t answer my question. They both tell me to “just believe.” Deuteronomy 18:20-22 tells me I should not respect & listen to prophets like Muhammad & Joseph Smith; unless, you can give me specific & detailed prophecies from Muhammad. The only one I know of is the Roman Conquest of Persia (Surah 30:2-4) & it doesn’t specify the exact time & location of victory. He wrote: “In a near land… In a few years.” Sounds like a guess of an event during his lifetime.

  • @SIRHANSIRHAN, As all your other Muslim counterparts, you have neglected to give me evidence of why I should believe the Gabriel of the Quran over the Gabriel of the Bible. The Gabriel of the Bible said the Messiah will be killed for sins of others (Daniel 9:26) & He is the Son of the Highest (Luke 1:32). The Quran has nothing in itself to prove itself being from God; therefore I should not believe the Gabriel who said that the Messiah was not killed nor is the Son of God. The Bible is filled with fulfilled prophecies that show it could have only come from God.

  • @SIRHANSIRHAN, I’m quoting Scripture as a whole (OT & NT). Replacement Theology is erroneous. It’s found in Roman Catholicism, some Protestant denominations, & Islam. It is an arrogant belief (Romans 11:18) & was taught as a doctrine after the destruction of Jerusalem & the Temple in 70 A.D. But read Ezekiel 36:24-25 if you don’t believe Paul in Romans 9-11. It is the promise from God spoken through Ezekiel about the New Covenant. In the last days, Israel will come back together as a nation in unbelief & then God will save all of Israel giving them a new heart before Christ returns (Ezekiel 37). Are you against what the LORD said through Ezekiel? Ezekiel 36:36 says: “Then the nations around you (Israel) that remain will know that I the Lord have rebuilt what was destroyed and have replanted what was desolate. I the Lord have spoken, and I will do it.” Israel is a nation in unbelief now, but soon they will believe at an appointed time (70th Week according to Daniel’s prophecy). And we can 100% trust that it’ll happen b/c all 69 Weeks of Years have been fulfilled along with the death of the Messiah & the destruction of Jerusalem & the Temple.

  • @SIRHANSIRHAN, Continued from previous post: Daniel’s were fulfilled during & after his lifetime. The 70 Weeks prophecy covers 4,900 years focusing on Israel. 69 Weeks have been fulfilled. The last Week (70th) is the Great Tribulation (7 years). We are living in the Time of the Gentiles, which was not revealed to Daniel b/c the prophecy focuses on God’s chosen people, Israel. After the 69th Week, Daniel prophesied correctly that the Messiah shall die & then soon afterwards Jerusalem and the Temple will be destroyed. Roman general Titus destroyed Jerusalem and the Temple in 70 A.D. So we can trust that Jesus definitely died before then.

How can Daniel accurately predict the description of the Babylonians (golden head), Medo-Persians (silver chest & 2 arms; alliance of 2 empires), Greeks (bronze waist), Romans (2 iron legs; eastern & western roman empires) & then the last empire to come (mixture of iron & clay with 10 toes) who would rule? Ever since the Romans, Israel was never a nation until the 1940’s. So Israel will exist when the last world empire arises. How can Daniel predict that a young Greek leader (history tells us Alexander the Great) would die and the Greek empire would divide into 4 parts run by generals (history tells us Cassander, Lysimachus, Seleucus, and Ptolemy ran those four parts)? I can go on & on.

  • @SIRHANSIRHAN, you’re right about 1 Thessalonians 5:21. We should give proof graciously to everyone who asks (1 Peter 3:15-16). I’ve talked with multiple Muslims & they have not proved the Quran to be God’s Word. Prophecy proves which Book is God’s Word. I have asked them: Which Gabriel should we believe? We have to pick one: the Gabriel who appeared to Daniel or the Gabriel who appeared to Muhammad. They are different. Why? The 1st told Daniel that the “Messiah shall be cut off (killed), but not for Himself”… who will make an “atonement for iniquities and bring in everlasting righteousness.” And then afterwards, Jerusalem and the Temple will be destroyed. The 2nd Gabriel told Muhammad that the Messiah was not killed, nor crucified. Simple logic supports that between the two prophets, Gabriel cannot be the same spiritual being. We are forced to conclude that Daniel & Muhammad did not receive words from the same spiritual being. I can prove the Gabriel who appeared to Daniel is the one we can believe b/c fulfilled prophecy back his message up. I can easily walk you through the 70 Weeks Prophecy (Daniel 9:24-27) & the Great Statue Prophecy (Daniel 2:31-45; Daniel 7-8) to show how they were fulfilled. The Muslims I’ve talked to avoided this question about Gabriel b/c the Quran doesn’t have “history before it happened” prophecies. The only one is the Romans defeating the Persians, which happened during Muhammad’s lifetime. Daniel’s were fulfilled during & a

  • @SIRHANSIRHAN, Israel has not lost the status of God’s chosen people. Read Romans 9-11. It explains why Israel rejected Christ, the chief cornerstone, b/c blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. Then all Israel will be saved. That will happen during the Great Tribulation.

Galatians 3 tells us who are the children of Abraham. It closes with this verse: “And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.” In the OT, it’s clear that the seed God promised would be a blessing to all nations & it was fulfilled… that Seed (Jesus) came from Isaac, Jacob, & David. Jesus said, “For salvation is from the Jews.” And that’s true since God had sent His Son to be born as a Jew from that line in order to redeem the world. We can only be sons of God & part of the holy nation through faith in Christ Jesus (Colossians 2:11-13; Romans 4:1-12). This was the fulfillment of OT prophecies speaking of the New Covenant (Jeremiah 31:31-34, Deuteronomy 30:6, Ezekiel 11:19-29). This is the proof. You pick & choose verses from the Bible based on your beliefs from the Quran, & leave out many other verses just like you did with the parable in Matthew. Read the whole context, not just one verse.

  • @SIRHANSIRHAN, Check out the verses before Matthew 21:43. Jesus quotes Psalm 118:22-23. And read the parable (Matthew 21:33-45) closely… Jesus is that son who the vinedressers (Pharisees) kill, & Jesus speaks of Himself as the rejected stone that has become the chief cornerstone. Also, read 1 Peter 2:4-10. It explains who that holy nation is… it’s not the Arabic nation (Muslims). The holy nation is spiritual & includes all who are chosen and belong to Jesus Christ.
