Wayne Root… you probably should get off of Trump’s knob for a moment and check yourself. Trump is not the only candidate for president who has made these recommendations. Actually, there is no real indication this is where Trump with compromise. All you are really saying is Trump can’t get it done, so he will have to compromise a deal. Are the Trumpsters really wanting to hear that? What good is voting for Trump on these issues if all he can do is get to a negotiating table just like everyone else, because he is promising something totally different. There is only one Conservative in the field that has been a realist on this issue and knows what can be done… that is Ted Cruz.

what they should do is throw that ticket in the trash. Make them serve the ticket. The expense is overwhelming.

Emotional plea fallacy fail. You own guns because you value life, liberty, and property. This nonsense about valuing guns over life is a ridiculous argument. I would caution The Blaze to do a better job in their editorial room before letting nonsensical opinions out. You don’t have a responsibility to change opinions… but you do have a responsibility to make sure those opinions are at the very minimum rational.

Let’s start by downsizing our federal government about 70%.

You are wrong because you misuse the statistics to fit your argument. If guns were directly correlated to violence, you may have an argument. Guns are the tools used in violence, not the cause of violence. Violence is a cultural thing, and not ALL cultures are equal. Case in point… Switzerland. There are 45.7 guns per every 100 people in Switzerland, but the homicide rate is .6 per 100,000 citizens. How can that be? Case in point… Sweden. There are 31.6 guns per every 100 people, but the homicide rate is .7 per 100,000 citizens. Case in point… Honduras. There are 6.2 guns per every 100 people and the homicide rate is 90.4 per 100,000. case in point… Venezuela. There are 10.7 guns per every 100 people and the homicide rate is 53.7 per 100,000. Let us use statistics closer to home. Detroit Michigan.. 54/100k murder rate, New Orleans 53/100k , St Louis 35/100k. These statistics can be narrowed to zip codes. On the flip side… Portland 3.3/100k, El Paso 3.4/100k, San Diego 3.5/100k. Look at gun registration per State… Michigan registers 4.3 guns per 1000 residents, while Oregon registers 11.4 guns per resident…. So why is Detroit murder rate over 10 times Portland? With your argument… Portland’s murder rate should be more than double. Shall we look at the cultures and demographics of the zip codes with highest murder rate OR should we remain PC and live in a fantasy land that all cultures are equal.

and the emails of a majority of the men throwing tomatoes are on the Ashley Madison hack. We all need to do a little house cleaning. This nation is sick right now. We have lost our way.

building blocks of RNA naturally created with a man made propellant gun. Where shall we start? Only if we can get those pesky amino acids to naturally form themselves into a functional protein. It’s like herding cats…. a lot of them.

What is the probability of amino acids naturally forming into a functional protein before it even needs to naturally form itself into a functional enzyme? A conservative estimate 1 x 10 to the 164th power. That is one in 10(164 zeros). That exceeds the number of hydrogen atoms in the known universe. The number is more than a Quinquagintillion, but not quite a Novemquinquagintillion. Statistically impossible.

Let us not over-react folks. They are most certainly just moderate muslims looking to make friends.

your progressive activist biology professor did a number on you. First.. your call sign is “Libertarian Socialist” which is a dichotomy of the highest order. Second… you attach gender to the way you feel rather than the chemistry, DNA, and physical certainties of the physical body. If Bruce Jenner wants to change his name and live as a cross-dresser…. He is free to do it. If Bruce Jenner want all of us to embrace him as a woman… you are free to do it, but don’t ask the rest of us to share in your delusion.

Tom Hagen…. a bigot of an entirely different reason. I didn’t sense any fear of homosexuals in Matt’s blog.

reading this makes me even MORE grateful for the Atonement. Christ atoned for Josh Duggar and He atoned for Lena Dunham. It appears Josh knows this and is trying to repent for his sins. I invite Lena to do the same. I am a sinner and I have to repent everyday. I don’t think I am the right person to throw the stones.

We recently learned that we all commit about 3 felonies a day on average. The justice code is bloated and askew. This ruling doesn’t go far enough… the government should have no right to confiscate any weapons unless you are convicted of an extremely violent crime with use of a weapon.

i know… what’s your point? Taboo humor turns into social realities over time. CK just cracked the ice here by challenging boundaries. Today… they are debating POST-birth abortions in academic circles. Do you not think this will become reality in the next few decades?

  • [-2] May 17, 2015 at 7:06pm

CK is just the same comedian from 10-20 years ago. Remember? Back then… we got all bent out of shape when someone made a joke about abortion or gay marriage. These things were taboo and we would never believe there was anything funny about killing children or two gay people getting married. We woke up 20 years later and abortion on demand and gay marriage is the fad of the day. If you had a gay friend who had an abortion… it is a great accessory to have. Soon… we will evolve to understand the molester as well I suppose. Progressivism is an illness.
