Submission to the Authorities
13 Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. 2 Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment. 3 For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Would you have no fear of the one who is in authority? Then do what is good, and you will receive his approval, 4 for he is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain. For he is the servant of God, an avenger who carries out God’s wrath on the wrongdoer. 5 Therefore one must be in subjection, not only to avoid God’s wrath but also for the sake of conscience. 6 For because of this you also pay taxes, for the authorities are ministers of God, attending to this very thing. 7 Pay to all what is owed to them: taxes to whom taxes are owed, revenue to whom revenue is owed, respect to whom respect is owed, honor to whom honor is owed.

So, let me get this straight…I’m supposed to get my political news, advice, and information from a musician who is known for writing, and performing for the chronically inebriated, while chronically inebriated. I’m sorry, but you showed your lack of brain cells when you talk about Dick Cheney’s privet army in Iraq. Is there some law that states you get to become a snobby political know it all bully just because you used to play a musical instrument as a profession? Stick to your shrooms Mr. Waters.

The issue isn’t “the facts”. The issue is the intent that they are presented with. So what they grew beards to go on TV with. They were still the same people before the beards, and they will be after.

It is at times like these that I seriously reconsider the reasons why I’m not for the death penalty. They are personal, but they get questioned more, and more often lately.

Where’s the line between good natured hazing, and hatred? When hazing becomes a game of “let’s see how far we can push this guy”, it becomes dangerous. Especially in your line of work, when loaded weapons are par for the course. Where is the line?

Do these people really not see the consequences of their actions? Do they remember “united we stand, divided we fall”? I refuse to believe that they don’t know what they are doing. I think they are doing it on purpose. I think we need to be united, and organized. I see 1930′s Europe in our future.

A man’s work should be able to stand on it’s own. He shouldn’t need anything else besides his own work ethic, and the dignity of doing his job well.

The fact that these 2 may only serve 6-7 years each is a travesty of justice. If you don’t know that rape is wrong by 16-17 years old, you have serious problems, and need to serve a lengthy punishment.

@comingunglued, no one is blaming a guy for being a guy. these 2 got convicted because they got blamed for acting like animals, and criminals. If being a guy means raping an intoxicated female, please count me out. I was taught that a “guy” was to have self control, and respect others, especially women, and be an example.

Bear – to be equipped or furnished with, according to Miriam/ Webster. It says nothing about open or closed, seen or unseen.

Whether you are an atheist, or believer, makes no difference. We are losing our history, and allowing it to be rewritten in the name of not offending anyone. And that should be offensive to everyone.

Ya know, if those of us who didn’t think Mr. Romney was conservative enough to get up off their collective arses, and vote because the other choice was Comrade Obama, maybe signing a petition like this wouldn’t be necessary. And remember this too, the Brits tried to tell us that we had no right to withdraw from Britain. But we kicked their rears. I hope that if it ever comes down to it, that these people look upon my information like the British crown looked upon the signature of John Hancock in bold letters. I don’t care if they know. If there are enough of us with the courage of our convictions, it won’t matter if they know.

Before we start debating caliber, center mass, et al, let’s remember that this guy had to hit a target moving away from him, in, at least partial darkness, while still trying to shield his 2 month old child. Good shot!!

What kind of people do this to someone? What kind of people pursue a person, just to make their lives hell? Why aren’t they being prosecuted for harassment? I hope that the family sues these people(loosely used term) for everything they are ever going to be worth, and more. May God’s justice be done upon those who treated this young lady like this. God help me, but if that was my daughter, I don’t know if I’d be able to control my actions.
