Absolutely you'll be sending a message.
The DEVIL will get the message loud and clear: his tactics of fear and hate are working.
God will get the message that the least of you is to be outcast and despised, not loved as He commands.
Without cause you are willing to assume the worst before anything has happened and not give God the job of protection. God did say "vengeance is mine."
You'll love this one Bob3: "Love the sinner but hate their sin."
Keeping a tiny demographic of people in their biologically-correct washrooms IS NOT DISCRIMINATION when the vast majority of people prefer it that way because it lines up the norms of nature and its God. Get over it.
Bob, The Devil always overreaches. You forgot to quote the verse about “he who doesn’t take care of his family is worse than an infidel!”
You are arguing like you have some Dayton (Target's parent company) stock that you are afraid will lose value!
I agree - love the sinner, hate the sin. But how about this: if you look like a woman and act like a woman then use the women's restroom. Same goes for the men's restroom.
The issue everyone uses is having some random guy dressed as a guy decide he needs to be a woman for the moment. What nobody seems to get is if that same random guy has bad intentions on his mind, bathroom assignments won't matter.
Lookup the definition of discrimination. What you mean to say is some discrimination is acceptable - such as bathrooms discriminate by gender. But what I'm arguing is that we should discriminate by outward appearance. Thus someone, regardless of chromosomes, who looks like a woman should use the women's restroom. If anyone regardless of chromosomes starts flashing people, arrest them. (And right now anyone who looks remotely masculine and enters the women's bathroom is taking a HUGE risk of being beaten or just shot dead.)
Your quote is 1 Tim 5:8 and speaks to providing for family. It doesn't tell you to harm others or deny anyone because of your insecurities.
I argue for people who are already persecuted and shamed. It's not easy living in this world and to cross strong boundaries like gender means accepting that people will hate you for expressing your inner self. Job opportunities disappear. Family and friends disappear. You live in fear every day that someone will "read" you and call you out. That is if you've started to transition.
If you don't transition then you have to deal an image of self that is far different than your body. It's emotionally scaring - nearly 50% attempt suicide - and tears your soul apart every moment of every day. Is that better? Is it God's plan that we must suffer in this life?
I argue as a transgender person that never transitioned. I was born male and live male. But this condition keeps me in perpetual anguish and the constant pressure to change distracts me and severely affects my ability to work and sleep. If I transition those feelings and distractions die down to a manageable level - but I can't and I'm running out of rope.
I have prayed every night for many decades and God has not seen fit to change anything - only make my life more difficult.
Would you give in to a change that helps your mental state but imperils your body or would you live EVERY moment of EVERY day with insanely torturous feelings?
Does God discriminate?
Unfortunately, it is too late for Target. They have taken a position that will put them out of business. It is other companies that are thinking about doing it that may be saved.
I am honestly uncomfortable shopping somewhere that does not have a restroom. Since Target has chosen to eliminate their women’s restroom; I am not comfortable shopping for more than five or ten minutes for fear I will need to go!
Bob3. Pitch your righteousness somewhere else I havent read the bible since middle school I don’t need it to tell me if you have a dick piss in the room with the dicks. The dudes that go into the girls room are sick you really are deep down. The girls who think they are guys kinda will be a crack up seeing them use the urinal. Just saying before you pitch the god thing on us remember there’s a lot of us that still think your a sick ****

No truer words were ever spoken. We were used and betrayed just the way we always are.

Oh for pete sake…get your kids out of union and government run schools….
Our kids are the last hope we have.
Duh, why didn't I think of that? Do you understand that not everyone can homeschool their kids or send them to private schools? Some of us in this economy HAVE to work and cannot afford a private school. Not every mother working is doing it for extras. Not every mother working has a husband.

The days can’t go fast enough for me…..I’m counting the days and minutes until this Marxist Regime is gone…
Pray to God we can make it for another year and still have any sanity left……..
Why should they give up? We conservatives are the King and Queen of conformity.
Why do you think this is going on? Is it happening everywhere in America
because we fight them tooth and nail at every turn?
No, it is because we conform to their wishes.
If conservatives cared, nothing like this would happen. Liberals are the catalyst
But we allow it.
