biting your tongue will not make evil go away, but only encourage it. the screenwriter’s guild did this and prevented others from speaking out in films, etc regarding the nazis before the war, that resulted in more people dying. neither the president nor any other person in govt can legally restrict our rights, they are citizens just like us, nothing more. this iman needs to understand our laws are not based on his religion’s ideals, but the actual natural rights of man(or God given if you prefer)- each individual is entitled to these, man and woman, jew and gentile

must not have been enough fist bumping in the motor city

who the hell are you, georgie? that’s the problem with politicians, always thinking they’re above every other American citizen
You don't get it. George H.W. Bush was elected to the Presidency of the United States. He was his party's standard bearer. He was a Vice President for two terms. He was a Member of the House. He was appointed an Ambassador. Grover Norquist forces elected politicians to sign a pledge NEVER to raise taxes or he will use his political connections and the media to destroy their careers. Grover Norquist has never held an office, he was never elected to anything. Why does he place HIMSELF above the will of the PEOPLE? Who the hell is Grover Norquist and why does he have this much power?

men pay more for life & auto insurance, there are reasons for these being different, not just because the insurers want to charge one gender more than the other

after he’s found guilty, they should give her some time alone with him in cuffs and leg irons, then put him in general lock up with his badge on his prison suit

so what does luis have a position in congress for? if obumbler can do anything he wants then congress is just using up resources
July 2, 2011 at 7:19pm
about 15,000-18,000 less than the lowest paid staffer
July 2, 2011 at 5:21pm
let’s take a wild guess and say that the president’s staff make over $150,000,000(150M) over his 4 year term. $38,300,000/ year for white house salaries
$95,765,000/year for congressman’s salaries
=$134,065,000/year for 990 people, that’s the president, 535 members of congress, and 454 presidential staff members. see why the gov. debt is 14.3T?
I agree - if only the american people would wake up! (i think this is happening - slowly but surely.

I wonder how many of these goons are ‘enviroMENTALists’?

same old song and dance, if you agree with Rand or anyone else on one point you must agree with them on everything else BS.
April 24, 2011 at 11:27am
mes @6:51 today
see my post yesterday @ 12:30p in this same group. thanks for being an adult and not using the degrading terminology used by others, just because that group has a different opinion(i am being sincere here)
run is over huh? scrambling to fill print orders is more like it. it won’t become a block buster, but i’d say it’s doing alright, averaging about the same per theater $ as scream 4. don’t most movies make the majority of $ on the weekend?
@7:03 “doubled the theaters”, hmm 299 on 4-15-465 on 4-22. just the facts!
why the hate?
April 23, 2011 at 12:30pm
so by the terms of jzs, sleazyhippo, and prfctlyfrank; if you agree with the precepts of Rand’s book, you must agree with her every thought about life in general? i’d love to debate you! i can just hear the conversation, i say one thing and you would agree wholeheartedly, but then if i said something completely opposite to test your convictions, you would agree wholeheartedly- because that’s what you are trying to lay on everyone else!
BTW, i haven’t read ‘atlas shrugged’, but because of all the wailing and knashing of teeth i hear from the lefties about it, it MUST be worth reading which i’ll do right after i get through with ‘the secret of the league’ by Ernest Bramah(supposedly the influence for ‘atlas shrugged’)

i phoned that POS moron and told him just what i thought of him making a snide comment about the vet.
these yahoos need to understand they work for us and are American citizens just like us and they need to sit down, shut up, and know their role.if their not doing their job, they need to expect and take an azz chewing from we the people.DAV and proud of it!
Who's country is it anyway??? I can't wait until we get to put the SEIU and the Liberals into the FEMA camps... There is definitely some serious re-education necessary...

Whatever, this publisher has a niche that they fulfill, they’re well within their rights to do so. I,and others, are free to buy a version that doesn’t go the PC route. Thinking people know what the generality of the pronouns mean anyway
March 16, 2011 at 9:09pm
as a vet i’m appalled at what our government is doing do us, my service was (and is) to the constitution and my fellow citizens.
here’s a kick in the head for you all, at the VA hospital today i was told that i can not bring a weapon on VA property; think about it, you can die for your country, but don’t even think about bringing a self defense tool on their land! the excuse i was given is that we don’t want some mentally deranged vet getting their hands on a gun, when i came back with”so you let people who may be a danger to themselves or others roam free?” & “i’m the 1st line of my own self defense”-answer: deafening silence and “where is the defense force since i can’t defend myself” answer “we don’t have one”
people don’t pay any attention to these posts critical of the NRA, they’re liars just like ‘totus’!! they find something on the internet, stupid trolls believe it!
anyone that advocates taking any one God given (or natural if you prefer) right, doesn’t hold freedom dear(you shall know them by their fruits)can you say tories?). and my answer to them is “get the funk out!”
From a University of Wisconsin–Madison source - the salary represents a 49K senate salary plus an "Average" IRS record taxable income of $96K that includes fees, salaries and other pay earned by the 33 "part time" state senators.
For example, one of the senators makes $78,500 additional state salary as a Manitowoc WI county executive, and also practices corporate law on the side.
