“I just showed the undeniable connection of Rock and Roll to Drugs, Sex, and Rebellion. I then showed Bible verse concerning God’s view of rebellion.”

No you didn’t. You showed a connection of certain quotes made by Famous Rock Stars to Drugs, Sex and Rebellion, not Rock & Roll itself. You clearly mistake Rock & Roll, with some of the performers of Rock & Roll. You have not provided a connection to Rock & Roll itself to Drugs, Sex and Rebellion. You can quote all day what rock stars have said, but that doesn’t make an undeniable connection. By your logic, we could simply conclue that connection was of FAME to Drugs, Sex and Rebellion.

These rock stars aren’t the end all “scholars,” if you will, of Rock & Roll. You are placing way too much ownership of Rock & Roll as a whole to these few performers. There are so many other aspects to consider, as well as many other rock stars. But you, hand it right over to the some of the performers whose quotes matter little to overall Rock & Roll. I hadn’t even heard these quotes until you brought them up here. I have heard their music many times. Yet, their songs, never once had me running out to have sex, do drugs or start a rebellion of any sort.

  • Indy, SocialistSlayer’s post was sarcasm. The big clue was demanding free birth control. The lefties in this world are completely crazy in their logic. SocialistSlayer’s whole post was scarasm about crazy lefty logic. He utilized lefty logic in his post, followed with more sarcasm. I found his sarcasm obvious.

  • I do not think we should give up social issues, the democrats do not.
The Republicans need to be better equipped to handle the abortion “gotcha” questions.

The reality is, abortion is not the biggest threat to us at the moment. Hear me out. I am 100% pro life. However, I understand the reality of the battle at this point. We have to adjust our plan and priorities. If we are staring communism in the face, we will be busy trying to save the people who have already been born, From starvation. The number one priority is to get these creeps out of power. Then we can fight the abortion battle. If we do not get them out of power, we will NEVER, EVER win the abortion battle.

Fight abortion a different way. Do what the left has done. Get back in the schools and push a prolife stance, get the message back in that abortion is murder, use the weapons they have used. But don’t make banning it an issue. Banning things doesn’t stop them from happening. I mean we already banned murder and people are murdered every day. We have to change the way people see abortion. Not legislate it for them. That is how we win this battle on abortion. Until people really understand, they will just see it as the religious right in their uterus again. We are totally going about this battle to save the unborn the wrong way.

  • Who determines whether or not something is an eye sore? Will there be a list of criteria that the rest of us can agree on? Do we get to vote on who will be deciding whether or not something is an eye sore? Can we then start applying the eye sore criteria for other areas? I find some vehicles to be eye sores, but they are new and shiney and parked in my neighbor’s driveway and I have too see that hideously ugly vehicle every day. The other is the one neighbor who literally bakes a cake on her face every time she applies makeup. She gets the mail and leaves her house a lot.

My point is….Where do we draw the line for eye sores?

  • This woman has every right to act like a jerk and take a picture of it. We have the right in this country to say what we want. But we don’t have the right to expect people not to be offended. If she worked for me, I would fire her. Why? Because she acted like a big jerk for the world to see. After the world got to see her idiocy, the company she worked for is suffering the consequences of her actions. While it may seem stupid to others, it is the reality. By her being a jerk and posting it online, it opened the door for all the complaints to her company. That is just how it is. That was HER choice to do. She needs to experience the consequences of her actions. It would be one thing if she just took the photo and didn’t post it online. When she made her actions public, she then brought others into her little “joke” who had nothing to do with it. The reality is, it is offensive to some people. She did it and made it public. So suffer the consequences Ms. Stone. Maybe next time you will think before doing something stupid.

  • Exactly. Makes me wonder why “Colleen” wasn’t a bit more discreet with its manly parts in the women’s locker room.

  • I don’t think that is Shannen Doherty. I don’t care how much plastic surgery, that just cannot be her. I went through google images and as someone who watched 90210 and was an official member of the “I hate Brenda Fan Club” there is no way that is actually Shannen.

  • @Zorro

Exactly. If any of the people who worked with me treated a customer like that, they would fired on the spot. It don’t care if someone peed in your cheerios…never EVER treat a customer like that.

  • I am actually glad Glenn mentioned it. The new American atmoshere has been set by our President and his media cohorts. Used to be that you could have a difference in politics and not be treated rude at every encounter. It just shows how morally vacant these people are. Don’t treat a customer properly becaue he has a different political opinion…what is this world coming to? This is apparently the new acceptable behavior in NYC. Very telling.

  • Wango, I suggest investing in a dictionary. I don’t think hate means what you think it means.
