  Peace officers are civilians. Carving out exceptions for them in the law further divides the peace officer from the citizenry, and fosters an “only ones” attitude – the same problem we see in Washington, albeit on a smaller scale.

  Further… the police have backup at the call of a radio, will be wearing armor, and will be *responding* to a known threat, rather than being surprised by an attacker.

  If 14 rounds in their pistol instead of 7 is necessary for them, it sure as hell is for the good citizens who’ll meet the dark alone.

  So good.

  First – Cody Wilson is today’s hero. Thirty years ago perhaps not, but with the threats to mankind’s freedom coming in the next twenty years? He is doing the perfect thing at the right time – I just pray as he continues to grow he follows the way of a Paul Revere rather than a Thomas Paine.

  PS – Glenn, pay him whatever he asks for that magazine in his video to keep in your museum of Americana. It belongs there or in the Smithsonian- truly world changing.

  Feh. The manufacturers make money whether they sell me an AR-15, a .30-30 deer rife, or a freakin’ Brown Bess musket. They’re selling more AR-15s than ever because that’s what the American people want to buy.

  What the NRA-haters need to ask themselves is this – why do more people every year think having a Liberty Preservation Rifle might be a good idea?
