Police Confiscate Veteran’s Antique Guns Following a Visit With His Therapist
June 11, 2013 at 2:13pm
He needs to report the therapist who filed a false complaint. Nothing he said would be considered dangerous or threatening to the therapist or to anyone else. The reporting therapist clearly doesn’t know the difference between healthy and pathological!
Speech Expert: Trayvon Martin Screaming for Help in 911 Call Is ‘Imaginary Stuff’
June 11, 2013 at 9:05am
Most people read headlines and avoid the story. Last year, soon after this event occurred, Trayvon Martin’s father stated emphatically there’s NO WAY that this screaming was his son. He added “I should know my own son’s voice”.
Initial news reports last year described an opon and shut issue of self defense. Then the media got it and made it into a race issue. Zimmerman did then and continues to state the facts consistently and as the events occurred. He happens to be one of those rare super honest people – honest to a fault.
Zimmerman’s statements were backed up by all the witnesses … except for one spotlight grabbing young bimbo, who made absurd claims which clashed with and were contrary to those made by all the other witnesses. She was ignored by investigators at first, but became the “witness” who accompanied the family to their televised hate-generating rallies! Her roommate remained uninvolved – silent and absent.
We saw a sample of the dishonesty of this prosecution at the short court appearance that was televised last year. Why has this railroading of an innocent man not been investigated? I’d say it’s big news when a D.A. starts off with trumped up charges that don’t fit any of the facts.
“Prosecutorial misconduct” does not approach the wrongdoing by the prosecution in their attempt to make a white, right wing fanatic out of the sensitive mixed race left-wing LIBERAL who was unfortunately named Zimmerman.
Atheists Accuse Teen Valedictorian of ‘Insensitively’ Inflicting ‘Christian Prayer’ on Graduation Audience (Plus: His Response)
June 8, 2013 at 9:55am
If the young man wants to use his opportunity to speak as valedictorian to recite the Lord`s Prayer, he earned the right to do so. Why the big fuss over his personal beliefs? At worst the audience was subjected to the `discomfort` of a short TV commercial.
Were the other students forced to recite with him or to participate in any way to make them uncomfortable? If not, he was expressing his personal preference and did noting wrong. As for his captive audience they were treated to a short speech – one less windbag speaking empty words.
I`m religion neutral, leaning towards Atheist if pushed, and rarely understand the Atheist aruments about such incidents. Freedom of religion goes both ways – one is free to believe or not to believe as one chooses. One is not supposed to impose his or her beliefs on others. Why is this simple concept so hard for some to understand?
Could a Christian Baker Who Refused to Make Wedding Cake for a Gay Couple Really Go to Jail?
June 7, 2013 at 10:13am
A licensed business that serves the public must do so without discriminating against any recognized group or members of that group. This business is discriminating against same-sex couples. This is illegal. When serving the public one cannot pick and choose one`s customers for reasons of religion, race, gender, sexual orientation, etc.
The religion of this baker is not relevant. He could be any religion and would still be guilty of discrimination.

14-Year-Old Holding a Puppy Slammed to the Ground and Put in Chokehold for Giving Police ‘Dehumanizing Stares’
May 31, 2013 at 3:17am
I don’t know about you but I have more fear of our police officers, whose job is to “protect’ us, than I do of bomb-making “terrorists”!
Am I just a paranoid old lady, or, do I have eyes that “see” what’s in front of my face?
VICTIMS OF “TERRORISTS” are usually caught in a special activity – like at the finish line of a big race, or on an airplane, traveling for business or pleasure. Some may be at work, in a big building … bigger and better than most others.
VICTIMS OF THE COPS are assaulted while participating in activities of everyday living, doing what I do, with little or no difference in the way these activities are carried out. I might be found walking anywhere at any time with a puppy or kitten in my arms. If my neighbor’s burglar alarm sounds I might go outside to their house to see what’s happening. I might be spotted carrying the insides of some mechanical contraption with colored wires sticking out. I have been approached by local police because I had the nerve to put some items in my own car, in my own driveway at 1 AM.
I especially am aware of the danger any police department presents to a law abiding citizen. This is becasue I’m “different” than most. I prefer to clean house at night or do my activiites that req
Anti-Gay Bias or Fair Punishment? New Details Emerge About High School Student’s Lesbian Relationship With a Minor
May 25, 2013 at 9:58am
First, define a “sexual relationship”. As far as I know, two women cannot have a “sexual relationship” as defined by these statutory rape laws. Second, if this was a “normal” boy-girl high school relationship, there would be no charges. How many such relationships currently exist? 50 per school?
Kaitlin CANNOT ACCEPT a plea deal that gives her felony convictions. To do so limits her career choices for the rest of her life let alone employment possibilities. Who hires felons these days? She is an honor student, looking forward to attending college where she will choose a career. She will not be allowed to become a teacher, a physician, a dentist, a lawyer, or join any occupation which requires licensing by the state. Felons need not apply for state issued occupational or professional licenses.
Finally, exactly what was “WRONG” about the relationship that caused the parents to seek legal help? I can’t help but comment on the MIXED MARRIAGE of the younger girl’s parents. Less than 50 years ago a MIXED MARRIAGE was considered “wrong”. It too was AGAINST THE LAW!
How foolish I feel to have fought for equal rights of these parents to marry when they apparently have no regard for the equal rights of same sex couples and no regard for the future of a promisiing bright young lady guilty only of loving their daughter.
If a male classmate got their daughter pregnant they wouldn’t prosecute him for fear of ruining his future – he’d have to suppor
Another Reason Why It’s a Bad Idea to Break Into a Texas Home: Armed Elderly Man Kills Home Intruder
February 22, 2013 at 12:12pm
["Dallas police will now refer the case to the Grand Jury to determine whether he followed the law when he killed the home intruder"]
Why should this homeowner be subjected to a Grand Jury investigation for defending himself? How does he defend himself against the Grand Jury as this related intrusion is more disruptive than the burglary?
Why was the homeowner forced to explain his actions to the burglar’s family at his own house, when they took it upon themselves to question him?
Why wasn’t the burglar’s family, (“Lakesha” et al, “He could have used a warning,” ) arrested for harrassment and trespassing for showing up at the old man’s home after the event?
From here it looks like Texas is following the rest of the nation, choosing political correctness over common sense and the law, and allowing black residents far more leeway than whites. I’d expect to be arrested if I approached the home of a black family that harmed one of my own, and started to berate and harrass them for their justified (or unjustified) actions.
When does this foolishness end?
Did the Media Scare Tim Tebow Into Canceling His Speech at a Controversial TX Pastor’s Church?
February 22, 2013 at 11:36am
Why does every discussion turn into a rant against homosexuals?
Why are so many of you preoccupied with a subject that in no way affects you or your life?
Are you aware of how much energy you waste imagining what goes on behind closed doors in other people’s personal lives that in no way touches or involves you? Even before attitudes towards gays became more relaxed, (over 25 years ago), the state of TEXAS determined this preoccupation was over the top!
There was a court case in Texas where a citizen called the police on his gay neighbors because the men were GAY! The cops entered the home and arrested the men who were in their own bed in their own bedroom doing what people do in private. Caught in the act, the men were not allowed the same privacy as were other Americans because they were gay. They were arrested.
There was a trial; both men were charged with sodomy. The outcome? Both were found NOT GUILTY. Religious leaders and eright-wingers at that time claimed this decision would end up setting a precedent for gay marriage! Were these people blessed with the abiity to foresee the future? OR, were they blessed with an abundance of COMMON SENSE?
25 years after this decision, many of you cling to your misconception that your neighbor’s private life is your business. Why? Imagine if this happened to you and your wife or husband. Perhaps if you developed your own sense of EMPATHY you could accept without condemning people who are different from you
NFL Player Arrested for Bringing Loaded .40 Cal Handgun NY Airport

Every day we hear or read of another violation of our constitutional rights. The example of the frog in a pot where the water temperature is gradually raised to a point where he is cooked without protest because he doesn’t feel the change is no longer valid. Our water is constantly boiling, we are tossed in and cooked, and none of us makes a move to jump out.
Will somebody explain this to me? Each day brings a new violation of our rights. Our freedoms have been taken away, and still, the violations continue, with each new affront worse than the one that preceded it. We take each new offense in stride, making no attempt to jump from the pot.of boiling water, apathetic to the impending demise of our souls.
We, the People have become slaves to those we hired to look after our interests.
WHY are we apathetic?
The Boston Tea Party was about somethng as simple as taxation without representation. Where’s our representation?.
Congress thinks its funny they don’t read the bills before they vote for them.
I consider this derelection of duty and malpractice, and for this, each member of congress and of the current administration needs to be fired, fined (equal to the profits they made off their decisions at the expense of the people) and jailed.
How do we do this?
It’s time for us to crawl out of this boiling water, or our goose irreversably cooked!
Off with their heads!
Thinking about this makes me feel better than I have felt in years….
