Before I even started reading this store I knew two things 1)Elizabeth Kreft is an industry plant 2) She is very lazy and did no reserch on the issue and instead relied on industry talking points. I have testified before congress on this very issue and can tell you that 1) it is designed to keep US tech wages low 2) will send the US into a third word country because the time and effort to obtain a degree does not justify the cost. Just type in H1B or NumbersUSA and see the horror stories of work visas. Why the Blaze would allow this disinformation on their site is disturbing. They are wrong on this issue

Actually, it is clear the liberals don’t want anyone to have healthcare. 5% more will not have health after Jan 1 than on Dec 31 when their old policies cancel. As an older American, I am benefiting from the plan. My costs have dropped about 20%. I so want those younger people to work harder to pay my health costs, and SSI. Under Obama I traded my car in the “cash for Clunkers” and bought myself a new truck. I bought a foreclosed home and got a 8,000 first time home buyers rebate. I had not owned a home for five years prior.

Boston was an attacked by the Tea Party, at least that is what Lesley Stahl and the media in general hoped. The Tea Party also tried to blow up the Kennedy library if I remember.

As a degreed EE, I find that science does not satisfy me. I wonder how many Universes there are, some say millions, which came first the bees or the flowers and why. During the time of Copernicus, men were silenced for thinking out of the box. Now it appears the former silenced are trying to do the silencing. If it’s wrong let each person find out for themselves by presenting all ideas.

As a former high school teacher who worked in a school that had six different gangs, shirts without any writing and pictures were the only dress code. I did not know all the gang symbols and as such all shirts with words or pictures were banned. Tattoos were required to be covered and any picture, word or tattoo that I could see through a shirt was sent to the office and gang personal for review. Sorry… that’s the way it is. Many schools are combat zones were gang members come so that they can stay on SSI and government welfare programs. They come to meet minimum attendance requirements and are absent the rest so they can sell drugs. Many will assume room temperature by 21.

Sadly, The blacks have done to themselves more than any KKK member could have ever dreamed. I speak of the violence in the inner city. I am a Tea Party small business owner. I don’t understand where he is coming from. I worry about the the financial legacy we are leaving our children.

As a former school teacher, the parents were always right. We did not teach, all we did was keep order.
This is also like England where the criminal has more rights than a owner.

Marco Rubio… let the illegals go to Detroit. Then use the tax money they generate to help rebuild the city. Jeb Bush… let the young immigrants, the fertile ones, the real entrepreneurs go to Detroit and fix this city. We know after two trillion in taxpayer money the US congress is incapable and so on down the line.

Lets get to the humor. Consulting??? This is funny. As a small business owner, let me tell you what that means. The go to school and learn actuary charts, excel spread sheets and some math. Because they are Harvard graduates, they have the answers. They join or start a hedge fund raising money to buy small business. They generally have no entrepreneurial business skills. They over pay and within 3 years 50% of the businesses are gone. They believe that the key to success throw someone else money at it. Cut pay of employees, raise prices and buy out competitors.

When the republicans regain the WH, which they will the IRS will then be used for political purposes. Remember that Dick Durban, what goes around comes around. The lists of people that thanked the IRS should be published, per IRS guidelines so that they will feel intimated. Yuck Yuck…

This is not new technology. Flare guns for marine use which shoot a 12 gauge flare have been available for decades. Remember what Biden said about 12 gauge. If you shoot someone with a flare gun it is much worse than bullets. The flare just burns inside of you and you can’t put it out. A metal fire is the worst type of fire, just ask the Navy who almost lost a aluminum destroyer in the Gulf. With a bit of plastic and a 3 in one mill drill center you could machine your own copy of that flare gun. You do not need to go on the internet to find these items, just your local marine store.

All I want to see is how are they getting paid. This is all a follow the money trail

The last sentence said it all. Information technology and manufacturing can’t find qualified employees. I am sure Twinkies was one company in that survey. Now with the new immigration bill being worked on, all the employees you need will be available. The part of interest is the High skill part or staple an green card to your diploma. No, it’s all about reducing wages. Obama is only part of the problem, the republicans who really want to be democrats (i call them democrats light) are the second half of the problem.

When I saw hat the person decrying the report was federal funded my first thought was. I guess he must come up with negativity on the report and reap more funding. While I don’t know what was tested, I have little respect for computer programs that predict anything. I don’t believe in global warming as man made. I still can’t explain the year of no summer or while the 11 century was so warm that grape grew in England and GREENLAND (discovered and founded by the Vikings) was so green .

The immigration bill that includes More H1b visa’s is a sad day for America. It has destroyed the STEM professions as a career. It forces most professionals out by age 40, using the excuse that their skills are not up to date. Stem professions have seen the lowest average pay increases over 10 years of any professional. I just hope when people look back years from now when most new products come from overseas that recognize that it was the elite in Washington DC who made the choice. They did it in hope of campaign funds while using poor education as a cover. All STEM work will then originate from the halls of congress. This deal is done by the REPUB u CRATES. I tell engineering students to move on to other fields like Finance and learn how to cook books like done in other third world countries. I say that because that is where the US is heading. Thank you Republicans and Democrats, liberal and conservative. It’s about the money.

I wish NBC would remove some of the violent television series shows it presents. I don’t have cable so I don’t see their cable shows. I do get their off the air programming when the weather is right and so much is violence. Lately all I watch is ME, Antenna, and RTV where the violence is benign. This includes BATMAN, Lost in Space and others which I watch with my four year old daughter.

I would assume that Paul’s views would reflect his fathers. He was raised with Libertarian beliefs. I do not hold that against him. Reading the comments, I don’t think people remember the immigration history of the US. While the statue has engraved at its base “Bring me your tired, your Poor” that was not the case. We only accepted skilled, educated, healthy people. Today’s immigration is more forgiving but still requires the same. Today’s we train immigrants who in many cases transfer the technology they learn here back to their native country. I believe we are being hollowed out as a nation by this transfer. Then we have illegal immigrants who come here to make money as manual labors for their families at home (foreign country). While they may reduce the cost of farming, house construction, and yard upkeep, they have a significant cost to society. I also support reducing the military, I believe that China and Russia have more to lose in a middle east blow up than we do.

This is not news for me. I am a small business owner and I dropped out of the GOP in 2000. In the late 1990′s the GOP couldn’t do enough for big business. Congressional records show comments by GOP congressmen saying “that’s where the money is”, remember “K” street. That is why I spent time firing GOP members “Santorum”. How is it that Lowes and Home Depot sell China product and ignore US product of better quality and lower price. Se ABC news on that subject. Both parties have at grown Washington at the expense of the Middle Class and Small business. Now big business supports a minimum income “tax payers payout” so they can continue the ponzi scheme. Big business through Hedge funds has become the 1904 “Trusts” of the current times. Obama has not pushed us any further left than Republicans would have had they controlled the economy. Currently both parties support “staple a green card to your diploma” which I believe will ship more technology and manufacturing out of the country. H1B’s, work visa’a that big companies get that suppress wages
and their costs that small business can’t get. All this under the premise that “American are not smart enough, lazy or do not have the current skills. All you get from Republicans is Democrat ideas ‘the lite version’. Many business can’t even be started because your supplies are overseas. Think steel, electronic components, machinery.
