To Jim in Houston,
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE!
A little late, but better than never.
Disgusting. The worst part? Those same people are now running the country, and it's fairly obvious their attitudes haven't changed.
Thanks for the service, and welcome home.
Thank you for your service, Jim.
I wasn't around when you came back, but I appreciate your service in the past.
Jim, with all my heart, welcome home sir. Your service IS appreciated. You matter to us. Anyone who calls you a derogatory name in front of me is going to to sorry they did. A great shame that our country doesn't value it's heroes. With all sincerity, thank you, Jim, for serving. We are glad you are home. God Bless.
Oh yes Jim I was called a baby killer as well. It is today that every one who has no concept of you, who you are, or what you did say thank you for your service, it has gotten to be politically correct, least you not respect someone who served with honor and humility.

A friend who came to Hawaii on R&R from Vietnam was greeted at the bottom of the plane’s stairs by his wife who handed him divorce papers. We had no “cute” homecomings and were treated like lepers. It is not an easy life to be in the military and serve one’s country. All members of the armed services deserve our utmost respect for their sacrifices on our behalf.
