  We are well on our way to people being arrested for “thinking of something that may be interpreted by someone as a threat.” We have become so hypersensitive and paranoid as a society people will soon be arrested for the most mundane things. I mean even now we are so over regulated and there are so many laws on the books you can’t go a single day without breaking some sort of law or regulation…

  My rights are not granted by some politician or government. They are granted to me by God and nobody can take them from me. And don’t these politicians understand that during the Revolution every man, woman, and child COULD have owned a “weapon of war?” The citizenry owned the same weapons the military did for the specific purpose of preventing tyranny within the country. Now owning RPGs and anti-aircraft missiles in this day and age may be over the top, however I believe the founding fathers would approve of the citizenry owning “military style assault weapons” even though politicians and the media have no idea what actually constitutes an “assault weapon.”

  @ Want Our Country Back: Sadly, we don’t actually pay her salary. Brain dead morons who flock to theaters to see garbage on stage do. They are the same brain dead morons who will donate to and vote for the Liar-in-Chief. And in reply to another comment about lowering ourselves by name calling: Republicans, conservatives, and libertarians have been too nice for too long. We have all been the punching bags of the left because we refuse to engage in a street fight and accurately describe the lies and distortions coming from the other side. For as long as I can remember following politics, maybe 20 years, we have fought this creeping socialism from the left by taking the “high road.” Now I’m not saying to make things up and lie, but we need to take the gloves off and tell it how it is. Obama is a LIAR. Axelrod is a mean spirited thug who is only out for his own advancement. I don’t care how “nice” people think he is personally. We need to step up and engage these thugs on their own terms. If we don’t, we WILL lose the election. Remember the old adage: “The only fair fight is the one you WIN.”

I’m sure if you look into history, words have incited more violence and killed more people than all guns put together. All journalists should have to be screened and licensed, and held directly responsible if their words offend or incite violence. Actually no, then we would be Europe…
