  I know it cannot happen but, if the Imams of the so called “peaceful Muslims” would all issue fatwahs of apostasy against any muslim involved with terror activity as a violation of the teachings of the Koran, for which the penalty is death on sight by all faithful muslims, all terror would end in quick order.

  As I have always believed, homosexual behavior is a learned activity and not prompted by genetics. Behavior is subject to social control were it affects the social good. Demands to be given special consideration by society to benefit those who participate in certain behaviors not related to genetics is a matter best left to religious authority.i.e., marriage, ordination or any other rite.

  Re: Your 2nd Amendment argument – You mention the attempt to limit the rights of criminals or mentally ill persons, but the point of the Fienstein bill is to limit choice of weapons under the 2nd Amendment to all citizens. Note her statement that more than 2,100 types of weapon are “exempt under the Bill”. It isn’t that many weapons are exempted, but that ANY bearable arms are not exempt under the Bill. The only weapons that should be exempt are those requiring two or more to carry and/or fire such as mortars, heavy machine guns,projectile artillary and rocket launchers or remote control weapons like mines and drone land and air vehicles. If you can’t hold it and fire it on your own then it ought to be kept by a “well regulated militia”. That’s why the militia language is included in the 2nd Amendment.

  If they could, the libs would repeal the 2nd Amendment. It is worth noting that amendments that get repealed have to do with restricting rights while those that expand rights are not repealed. I only bring this up because if a gay rights amendment passes it will not be repealed.
