The parallels are startling. The only thing missing is a right wing demagogue to encourage the gullible that their elected government is a really a traitorous conspiracy between socialists, bankers and foreigners and must be overthrown. Thank heaven we don’t have one of them.

“If you cannot SPEAK ENGLISH you positively CANNOT vote.
…. BEFORE all poles are closed.”
Are you quite sure?

“The poll clerk was an African-American teacher.”

“or where the non-producers are”
On the internet?

As Karl explained the polls were wrong because they oversampled people who were going to vote for the President.

Either this is fraud or Mr. Romney is not very popular in Cleveland.
Obviously fraud is the more likely explanation.

So you’re saying he was born in Hawaii?
Whose side are you on?

I don’t understand this. Surely everyone knows Jesus was a Republican?
November 4, 2012 at 11:49pm
Yes but if you think about it they can’t both be right can they?

Sadly she’s absolutely correct. Hopefully it’s not too late to change course.

I don’t like the sound of this idea of letting the disabled skip the line. It smells like socialism to me. God bless people like Mrs. Rockwell for having the guts to go into black neighborhoods to put a stop to it. We may not be able to stop these folks from voting anymore but we can sure as heck slow them down.
There is a reason for allowing disabled to the front of the line.
Where I voted, a lady came in on crutches (Single amutee), everybode there let her go ahead so she would not have to stand there for the 15-20 minute wait.
So there are cases when oving people forward in the line is a good thing.
Now moving people to the front of the line becouse they agree with the naacp is completely different.

I understand the concern but I think they do have the right to vote now. Another one of those sixties progressives’ ideas.

What’s wrong with love of country?

It sounds very inspiring. He forgot to tell us however who to vote for. I assume he thinks we should support our President, but he perhaps could have made this clearer.

What the atheists forget is that 9/11 was itself a faith-based initiative.

“His social agenda was for expanding universal access to health care, for expanding access to education.”
Exactly! The opposite of what conservatives want.

So by your standards even this guy isn’t really right wing?
You guys are hardcore!
July 1, 2011 at 1:08pm
A missed opportunity. It would have been way cooler just to let God take it down.

“The Five” probably an improvement on the original working title “The Pentagram”
