  • This sounds like a terrible business plan to me. The market for guns and ammunition is skyrocketing, and those who lend to these businesses should get quick returns on their investment. There should be many lenders flocking to fill what GE Capital is leaving behind. If I had enough money to be a “lender”, I would get into this market ASAP.

  • The single easiest way to counter this propaganda is to teach your children not to fear guns. I will personally do this when my child is old enough. If our future generation is deathly afraid of inanimate objects (i.e. guns), it will make it much easier for the gun grabbers to succeed. Fight propaganda with facts, and avoid using emotions. Leave the emotional “logic” to the other side, that cannot use facts since they do not support their cause.

  • Last time I checked, the Pilgrims and Puritans didn’t demand the Native Americans provide a “safety net” if they couldn’t thrive on their own.

  • Should Americans Learn From Israeli Gun Laws?

My main objection to this article: We do not have a “Right to Drive a Car”. We do have the right to bear arms. By comparing the means of getting a driver’s license to the means of purchasing a gun, you are taking away our 2nd Ammendment Right. All it takes is one gun to commit a crime. If we give in to these regulations, and only allow one gun per registrant, it doesn’t solve the problem. Actually, the same argument exists: those who follow the law will have one gun, while those who break the law will get as many guns as they can. Evaluating mental illness and restoring our moral values is the only real solution to this ordeal. Unfortunately, this will not happen overnight, and some people will never be able to “become moral beings”. We must start from the beginning and begin a solid moral foundation with our children, if morality will become a future possibility.

  • What happens when a gang opts to wear polos, khakis, or rugby shirts? Will that attire be banned at this school system as well? Instead of penalizing the kids that follow the rules, how about focusing on the ones that don’t care about the rules?

  • What’s truly sad is that one of the best forms of education is discussion and debate. When a teacher goes on a power trip and blatantly scolds the student for having a different opinion, that’s when there’s a serious problem. The teacher gets a paid vacation, and my guess is, she’s probably planning her next lecture of how great of a job the current President is doing.

  • All I can say is if there was a violent rebellion initiated by this NBLM, it would undo everything Rev Martin Luther King Jr. stood for. Everytime an African-American opted to reference slavery as a reason for injustice in the future, if the NBLM opted to use physical violence against the USA, it would completely balance out the argument of “restitution” for those who were affected by Slavery so many generations ago.

God help us that we can avoid violence. Once violence is initiated, human instinct is to meet with further violence. This country cannot go down the road of what Greece and other European country are going through at this time.

  • Don’t worry, if Chevy gets into a legal contest, I’m sure Obama will have no choice but to continue funding operations. Ford hasn’t “kissed the ring” yet…

  • *origin NOT originin :)

  • By the way, the originin of UND’s mascot is due to North Dakota State being the Bison. UND wanted to send a message to NDSU, so they made their mascot the Fighting Sioux, the number one “killer” of Bison. I think its a clever choice of mascot, and in no way, should offend the Sioux.
