  I don’t know if Jack Lew is a liar, a cheat or whatever. But if his only sin is that he clashes with Republican members of Congress then I could not care much less if my party of 40 years likes him. I want the system fixed and so far the republicans are no better than the liars of the Democrat party. My party has sold us out almost as often as the Democrats. Personally, I think it is about time we have an Independant American party one whe3re all you radical religious creeps can be told to drop dead and take your anti-Mormon, anti-fiscal sanity, anti-Jew, anti-everything else crapola and stuff it.

  No one with an ounce of sense believes every person in the country has the right to own a firearm. We regularly deny that right to felons, people with a violent history and the mentally ill. Even the NRA says everyone ougfht have training on safe gun and ammo storage and be taught by a competant instructor on how to safely use a firearm. This discussion is not about the law abiding citizen who is responsible. This discussion is about how we should keep firearms away from the irresponsible, criminals, and the crazies. Unfortunately – but predictably – there is a part of the media and Democrats who are lookng to create mischief by over reaching – as usual.

  People are looking for quick answers and solutions. That is entirtely understandable. However, the underlying problem with this killer, according to his brother, was that his mental health was apparently not being treated succesfully. The issue that must be addressed is why the killer thought going out big was a solution to his problems and second is how and where using firearms against innocents was presented as a viable solution. I suspect violent video games are at the heart. Violence depicted in games and mentally unhealthy people do not seem to be a good mix.

  This is not a gun issue. This is a mental health issue. This guy would have found something else to kill with if he could not get a gun.

  This is the nuttiest thing I have heard in … forever. It seems like tehse crzies are hell-bent on proving Chris Matthews right. That is, our Party is running out of angry white guys. Listen guys, none of us are happy with the way things are going. But it is the way it is for now.

  If all those people who stayed home had actually voted for Romney we would not be headed down this socialist path. But for whatever reason – they hate Mormons, moderates, Harvard graduates or whatever – their actions in not voting actually elected Obama. The people we really ought to hold responsible is that group, not Democrats who wanted to win more than we did.
