  • Feinstein’s still trying to ban small caliber sport rifles, huh?

  • What evidence is there that conflicts with the evidence against this guy?

What, because classmates said he was a nice guy? So were Gacy and Dahmer. Because his aunt thinks he didn’t do it? His uncle thinks he did. Because his backpack looked too small? Are these tweeters physicists now?

Facts: He was seen leaving the backpack at the bomb site; he resisted arrest with deadly force; he and his brothers continued to use explosives while resisting arrest; they were found with bombs strapped to their chests. I mean, seriously, there’s already enough evidence to convict, let alone enough to arrest them on!

  • Also, despite having “learned nothing” from the Loudon’s, the Envy family (no ****, right?), actually ended up changing some of their lifestyle to match the Loudon’s. The Loudon’s, on the other hand, only learned that Christians would be treated like **** and refused to further take part.

  • This guy even lied to his wife about what happened. He left out the fact that the thing about the “law, not what I think” was in an entirely different context. He left out the part that he facilitated in his children breaking the TV rule. The left out the part that he never let Gina say her part and repeatedly acted exactly as judgmental as he assumed she was. He left out the part that, while Gina never called their lifestyle evil, he called her evil (over a battle over the Constitution). He left out the part that he called her religion a comic book after he had pressured her to speak up as to why she disapproved of their lifestyle.

  • An actor is not a job creator. His job is one of those created by the producers. He might have created some jobs with this short, though I’m not really sure anybody got paid for a small little video like this; irrelevant. Next you assume, instead of being incensed by his rhetoric, we are all of a sudden OWS. You don’t connect your assumption to another other than just “i bet.”

It’s funny how you try to come in and turn “capitalism” back around on us, while not understanding the first thing about what constitutes capitalism or a capitalist political perspective. News flash: It’s Marxism (all forms of it) that obsesses over money; capitalism simply cares about economic freedom. In capitalism, it is not “rich = good”; rather, it is “over-regulation = bad.” It is not, “you have a business, so you’re always right;” rather it is, “you have a business so you have the right to run it your way and I have the right to decide whether or not to shop there.” Part of the idea of capitalism is that it’s self-correcting. When people, like Carrey, shoot themselves in the foot by slandering half their audience, we don’t need regulations to stop him (nor would we use them). No, instead his own stupidity and disrespect will be the tool of his obscurity.

  • He would take them to task legally….if he had a case.

  • Check his voting record compared to his father on Heritage Foundation’s scorecard. Rand is NOT his father and his conservative credentials are solid. The LPKY (libertarian party of kentucky), put out a public statement distancing themselves from Rand Paul and making quite sure everyone knew they did not feel he was a libertarian. They mostly approved of his father, if I remember correctly.

  • Not the same. Unlike the others you mentioned, these are made to “behave” like rubber, pneumatic tires. The honeycomb design and the softer plastic make the difference. Still, I would chalk this up to “interesting”, rather than “amazing”.

  • Is Conservatism the New Counterculture?

In reply to Sil in CNY.

They have been since, at least, FDR.

  • Good for him. He caught up with a child he didn’t know and is developing a relationship. The rest of you conservatives commenting are putting your politics above what turns out to be a heart warming family story. Forget for a moment that he’s a Democrat; he’s still a human being.

Then again…he did try to hide her there for a second…but maybe it was to keep her out of the spotlight. But, since no one knows. Try not to assume. Leave the politics of wishful thinking, gotchas, sanctimoniousness, and irrationality where it belongs…with the liberals.
