  My daughter sang the national anthem a few times in front of a couple of thousand people at semi-pro baseball games and one time she messed up a little, switched a couple of words. I had noticed cause..well I am her Dad AND I was in charge of the color guard. She wanted to be devastated (teenage girl ya know) and told her fellow Young Marines and some civilians right off the field that she screwed up but they all looked at her like she was crazy…none of them had noticed…Had a couple of people in the stands say something like “nice recovery”.   Read the friggin article…huh. The guy that SHOULD have been in prison stopped pointing the gun at the girl and went to point it at the cop. If the cop didn’t shoot in that instant…that 7/10th of one second..he would have been dead and THEN so would have the girl. As far as the 8 rounds..we don’t know the minutiae on how it went down but the second that guy got into her home she had an extremely low chance of surviving. If you want to blame someone, blame the liberal judges and prosecutors.

  Cats do not get “stuck” in trees…ok? The only problem is overly anxious women and children’s imagination. My solution has always been “leave it alone…it will come down when it is hungry” and it has worked EVERY time. Sometimes in minutes and sometimes in hours…but I was never stupid enough to risk mine or anyone else’s life…let alone tax dollars

  Sick to death of champions of empathy. I have to talk to people all day when their tv is broken and you wouldn’t believe the reactions you get when you tell a person that you need to order a part and it will be fixed in 6 days…that is on the 6th day after they called..they act like you just cut off one of their children’s limbs…my God, some of the cater-walling is unbelievable. YOU do this day after day, thousands of times, and you become numb to it. The bosses think we need to be more empathetic but at the same time tell us we are taking to long on the phone.
  I know this isn’t apples to apples but pretending to be empathetic repeatedly wears on any human being both mentally and physically and there are very few humans that can do it without both deteriorating or going insane. My empathy is broken…
  I might sound like a robot to you and I may sound like I don’t care but I am statistically in the best 5% of productivity and efficiency at what I do…I’d bet this dispatcher knew the police would be there shortly..don’t they have gps maps? And make direct contact with the nearest vehicle? And knew the police was less than 2 minutes away? Never mind the effectiveness and efficiency,,,beat her over the head for not “smiling through the phone”

  I hate to say this but thats what she gets for going to New York…ANYWHERE in New York. I won’t even buy products at a store with New York printed anywhere on them. I avoid doing business with anyone or any entity from New York. I started doing this 20 years ago.

  LOL, going to Princeton doesn’t necessarily make you smart. It does generally make you obnoxious and pompous and most often with a large debt to pay for the communists (professors) exorbitant retirement funds. What this lady apparently has never got a grasp of is that most women want real men…not the wussies that come from Ivy league schools with small lady-like hands and exceedingly large self importance, all while really having just graduated with little to none common sense.

  Someone I know goes to OKC for FAA training once in a while and he says home invasions are on the rise in a big way in that area.

  Gov Walker in Wisconsin didn’t do it because it would cost the taxpayers a minimum of 65 million dollars a year in uncompensated expenses to run the exchange FOR the federal government with even larger amounts every year after that.
