  • The TRULY sad part is hearing people complain about the very notion of a woman ‘submitting’ to her husband as if somehow she’s getting the short end of the stick. They not only have no clue what the notion of biblical submission is, but if they also had clue what the role of the husband is they’d realize that she’s to be treated pretty darn well. After all, the husband is commanded to love his wife as Christ loves the church and gave himself up for it. A husband doing HIS roll will ALWAYS treat his wife far better than he ever expects to be treated. And what IS love? “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.” I Cor. 13:4-7

  • Let’s not throw the baby out with the bath water. Yes, this guy came to the wrong conclusion in regards to what the Bible says about the sinfulness of homosexual behavior. However, he also came to a good conclusion when he realized our need to see homosexuals as no worse of sinners than you or I and if we would somehow find a way to get off our high horse about it we could be a much better ambassador of reconciliation to them and others.

  • This only confirms the ongoing requests of many for Obama to release access to his passports records and his college admissions papers. If he used an Indonesian passport to travel to Pakistan in 1980 then that would be an “affirmative act” by a consenting adult…accepting his Indonesian citizenship.

If he applied to any college as an Indonesian citizen then that is also an “affirmative act” and would make him accepting of his Indonesian citizenship.

Whether that would have made him ineligible to become president of the United States would, then, be something for the Court to decide.

  • I am neither a Packers fan nor a Seahawks fan, but I was beside myself with how the entire last 8+ minutes of the game was called. The roughing the QB that negated the FIRST interception. The pass interference call that extended the drive just before the last one. The last play was pure poetry…for incompetence.

I’ve already decided I am not watching anymore NFL until the League gets their heads out of their ____ and works out a deal with the officials. MY GOD, MAN, we’re talking about 1% (ONE STINKING PERCENT) of the entire league’s revenues.

  • You’re absolutely right. They probably get more viewers from having their crap posted on places like The Blaze than they do when it airs live.

  • One question, what “changes” to the Florida voting laws are the DOJ suggesting need their approval? Is the state of Florida merely enforcing laws already on the books?

  • Not that I don’t think it isn’t feasible that he was killed, but death by natural causes occur at all ages. My half-brother died at 29 of a heart attack…and HIS son died at age 31 of a heart attack.

  • Joisey…you’re accusation would be more constructive if they weren’t so obviously skewed and prejudiced by the fact that Newt is not the candidate you wish to win the nomination. Your inability…or should we call it your unwillingness…to research the facts belittles your position and actually casts an appalling shadow upon the candidate you advocate for the nomination.

    1) adulterer – be careful about casting the first stone…I certainly wouldn’t want God bringing my forgiven sins back up again. Would you?

    2) pro-climate change – prove it. (before you get carried away trying to argue this point, I certainly hope you’ve read his book on the subject and listened to his testimony before the Waxman-Markey Cap and Trade hearings…you would look terribly foolish arguing a point without that information)

    3) ethics violations – actually he was cleared of all 84 charges…but don’t let that fact get in the way of your accusations. As for the $300K…you might wanna recheck your facts…it was not actually a “fine” he was paying…but again, its never too late to stop acting foolish.

    4) Amnesty in ’86 – hmmm…I don’t suppose you’ve read the facts on this either, have you? Perhaps you should declare Ronald Reagan a neo-con too, while you’re at it.

    5) Last night’s debate – you didn’t happen to read the Red Card Solution paper did you? If you had, you’d realize exactly WHAT Newt is advocating. But rather than actually research these things yourself, you’d rather take HIS statements and twist them to suit your pre-judgments.

    6) FDMC – every piece of evidence substantiates his claim that he never lobbied for them, but merely provided advice, which, as he said and is now proven, they never followed.

    7) Mandate – do your research and figure out the difference between a mandate to buy a specific product and

  • OMG, HANDICAPPED THE GAME? You’re concerned that someone betting on a HIGH SCHOOL FB Game is gonna lose a few bucks because of this? Did you even listen to the whole story. It was done AFTER THE CLOCK RAN OUT. The game was over before it happened. Where the HELL are your priorities?
