  Please don’t be fooled into thinking that you are safe in charter or religious schools… I am also in NY and my daughter attends a catholic school and they are implementing common core… I have addressed it a few times with them and have a meeting with the principal in the next few weeks but the teachers are already being trained and even have conferences on it but it’s closed to the parents!!! I have asked to attend but was told NO!

  ok… I know this may sound crazy but this Mayor got on the air last week and told the public that there might be violence… Now if they have enough info to say that, you would THINK, like the NYPD, they would be prepared for it… So now, why would he again go on the air and say that they need to extend more power to the police after most of the damage was already done…
  Something isn’t right here…
  I think this was calculated… Normally the media ignores OWS and if they do recognize it, they would never call it violent but now it seems like we are finally hearing about it…
  I agree with others, this will open the door and we will see other cities extend power which would then give Obama and other radicals a walk in to “save the day”…

  This is terrible… I mean the standardized tests, which should be banned to begin with, but that’s a whole another story, are not even given to students that young… I don’t think they start until 4th grade so why would she trying to prepare them now, she is not required to follow the guidelines since they are not participating in the test…

  I think she was just trying to teach this little kid a lesson… Use the bathroom during the time alloted… The problem with this kind of thinking is, one, you are dealing with a six year old, and two, we are talking about going to the bathroom and coming from a mother of a six year old, you cannot get them to go to the bathroom when they don’t think they have to go… It’s almost impossible!

  Have you guys noticed all the other stories going on in the schools… The kid that was handcuffed, the teacher who was firing blanks…Something is up… Parents beware…
