They’re probably stopping by for drinks. From what I’ve seen of such fictional space stations as Deep space 9 and Babylon 5, space stations are the place to go to get your spaceship maintained while you visit the spaceport bar.The current ISS is probably a disappointment after seeing those programs which have gotten out as far as Gliese 581 by now.

What is depicted here isn’t the best you can do in a science set for young people. You can find fairly good chemistry sets on line. You would think that Guy Fawkes would be a warning to would-be revolutionaries. Not only was he apprehended before he could fundamentally change Britain by blowing up Parliament, but he was executed for this, and the date of that execution is celebrated in the United Kingdom the way we Americans celebrate Independence day.
