  Michael Morell will now testify instead of Petraeus. The administration thought he would get cold feet about testifying under oath. The administration was monitoring him knowing they needed this kind of dirt. All right before he was to testify on Capitol Hill. How do we get the house to demand that he testify. Since the Senate in under Dem control. I know. The House refuses to give the President and the Dem held Senate anything on taxes and taxing the rich until Petraeus testifies. No work until the truth is given to the American people. Let the financial cliff come. Fork over the truth or we all go down together. The GOP needs to get some balls.

  Two Alaska residents will being honored Saturday at the ninth annual Jewish Cultural Gala for in Anchorage, held to benefit the new Jewish Cultural Campus, for being sparks of light in the darkest chapter of human history.

  Rachel Gottstein, married to Barney Gottstein, is a Holocaust survivor being honored Saturday. First National Bank Alaska President Dan Cuddy, a World War II veteran who fought under General George S. Patton and assisted in the liberation of the Buchenwald concentration camp, is also being honored.

  The Holocaust remains one of the world’s largest genocides. More than six million Jews lost their lives, and many who lived through it refuse to speak about the atrocities they witnessed. Gottstein was willing to talk about her experience, and shared her story with Channel 2 about surviving three years in concentration camps.

  Originally from Krakow, Poland, Gottstein was taken into the Nazi camps at age 5.

  “One day my mother took me and brought me to a neighbor and then she hugged me and kissed me and she left,” said Gottstein.

  That was the last day Gottstein saw her parents. It was the height of World War II and Gottstein, like most Jews living in Poland, was captured by the Nazis. For the next three years she spent her life in concentration camps.

  “I saw everyday people being killed and beaten and tortured, and children being taken for all kinds of medical experienments and it was scary, scary, scary,” Gottstein said. “You never k

  Here is the truth Glen. The foundation of the house Must be built on Good ground to survive and to be a quality house. This country will not improve until we stop killing life in the womb. Every other issue must take a back seat. How can we expect our God to bless us as a nation if we cloud this most important issue. All these other issues are only the frame and amenities of the house yet the foundation of America is still poorly built on sand. It must and will fall. I too hoped that we could win this election. But The Lord did allow me to understand long before that until we rebuild this foundation we shall not prevail as one nation under God. We will follow in the footsteps of fallen nations of the past.
