Phil might have just quoted exactly what the bible says about the lifestyle–”an abomination”–and let it go at that. But nothing he said actually contradicts what scripture implies. When you get right down to it…society is mad at the Bible, not Phil. As society gets more perverted, the scripture is still there as a glaring mandate as to how the Lord expects us to live. Don’t get me wrong..non Christians aren’t really expected to live any differently, Christians however have other directions. More ‘closet Christians’ might take a cue from Phil and come out of the closet on the subject…perhaps with a little more finesse, but take a stand at least, other than being PC and blur the line between Christian mandates and societies bent toward degradation. Christ loved the sinner..but He more than made plain He does not approve of the sinful lifestyle, and that we are not to either.

No prob….He’s rich enough now, he doesn’t need them anyway….but as for people telling the truth about the perversion, they’d better brace up, cause it ain’t even gonna go away…the truth is the truth…..they don’t like it? Well, that’s too bad!

The real crime here..is why do journalists insist on printing his BS drivel ??? And please drop the Rev. when you print his name..it should be reserved for someone you can respect.

Won’t respect Mandela? You mean, even after all the foreign news reports..(since most of them were sanitized here in the U.S.)..about his cozying up to the So.Africa Communist Party, and his picture with his arm around Fidel etc..?? Imagine not wanting to revere him?? hmmm

well Kevin…normally you COULD settle it man to man….but with Baldwin, you’d ‘be a man short’ as they say!

first things first…Christians trying to reason or rationalizing on people who aren’t Christians is like Werner Von Braun explaining thermodynamics to a high school dropout! So, much of the criticism toward anything Christian from non believers is to be expected(as scripture point out)..but taken with a grain of salt.
'Christians trying to reason' regards religion is an oxymoron. reason and faith are at opposite poles.
So...what you're saying is we just have to take your word (you'd probably call it "God's word" not yours, but then, we have to take your word that it IS "God's word not yours" in the first place, so that doesn't really get us around the problem now does it?) for it that it's true...
Also, thermodynamics are not all that hard to explain or comprehend (at least 99% of what you ever need to know about them is):
The First Law of Thermodynamics is that within any closed physical system, energy (or presumably its equivalents) is conserved.
The Second Law of Thermodynamics (colloquially "entropy") is that in any closed physical system, energy tends to distribute evenly throughout the system over time.
The Third Law of Thermodynamics is that in any closed physical system, energy will continue to circulate until it reaches a maximally diffuse distribution of energy throughout the system--this is called, equilibrium, when energy is balanced throughout the closed physical system.
Technically, there is also a "Zeroth Law" of Thermodynamics which deals with a kind of "transitive property" of energy across physical systems (in condensed form it essentially holds that if physical system A is in thermal equilibrium with physical system C, and physical system B is also in thermal equilibrium with physical system C, then physical systems A and B are in thermal equilibrium with each other as well), however this is probably not necessary for the average person to have a functional understanding of Thermodynamics.
That is all a high school dropout (and probably anyone who is not in the field of physics or some kind engineering heavily dependent upon physics and/or managing energy systems) will probably ever need to know about thermodynamics.

you only need to worry…if you were gullible enough to believe it all in the first place!

You’re (Biblically) wrong! It IS his duty to pray and offer Christ as a matter of fact according to his belief. But.. as the apostle Paul stated…to be ready to be persecuted for doing his duty. That’s the part of Christianity that rubs against society(and always has). When society tries to ‘trump’ the biblical mandates, a Christian is under obligation to go with what the bible says..not society. Get over it.

i’m afraid this is all just the ‘tip of the iceberg’ of what’s to come in this country! what a shame.

Christianity does indeed recognize (theologically) the JWs as a cult. THAT’S NOT THE POINT!…the point is, if we let them tell THEM how they can exercise their chosen views(or not)…then all belivers in general are next. It’s a door the government is trying to knock down as it is….we shouldn’t help them!
Just because your Christian church tells you that JWs are a cult does not mean that Christianity as a whole teaches this or even believes this. I am 60 y.o and a Protestant Christian from birth. I can positively tell you my church does not believe your assertion that JWs are a cult and neither do I. JWs may actually be the MOST Christian of all the Christian sects. That is a distinct possibility. Based on your statement, your church sounds like the outlier cult.
