I live in Waterford, the next town over from New London. What you have to bear in mind here is that New London is, for all intents and purposes, a joke. Currently, the Chief of Police is suing the mayor (twice I think), the president of the police union is suing the chief of police and the mayor; the family of a man who fell into a trash compactor is suing the city (the head of public works is a friend of the mayor’s whose claim to fame for being a director of public works is that he was a high school teacher.); the man who applied to be superintendent of schools and was offered a contract and had a welcome aboard party at Ocean Beach is suing because he wasn’t hired. It seems that the only thing truthful in his resume was his name. For those of us who don;t live in New London, the city is a constant source of entertainment.
I would rather hang out with a bunch of my fellow squids than to associate with those rich snobs.

It’s kind of like saying that the Third Reich was pivotal experiment in the creation of Israel.

I served in the navy for 23 years. They were the happiest days of my life. We worked hard and played hard. I trusted my shipmates and the officers above me. What I feared was getting caught lollygagging when was suppose to be working or getting back to the ship late. Now sailors have to fear saying “girl” instead of “woman”. Chief initiations and shellback initiations are gone because they are not politically correct. Merit has little if anything to do with promotions. Skin color, gender, and now probably sexual orientation have replaced merit. I loved the navy but now, if some young person were to ask me about the navy, I’d tell him to stay away.
They are going to have to draft. I will advise that Canada is a really nice place. They can tap the woman draft.

I personally don’t see a thing wrong with profiling. I worked for the Department of Correction for 20 years and would profile on a regular basis. It kept me safe. I just kept my mouth shut about it.

I have to agree with Sidney Allen Johnson, it was fun to watch but it was a lousy pass and a lucky catch. Celebrate a victory for sure, but Marshall and Louis shouldn’t let it go to their heads.

It won’t be long before the IRS is auditing his taxes.

Laying a hand on a World War II vet is the same as laying a hand on my late father who was a WWII vet. Should that happen, I’ll be on my motorcycle heading south on I-95.

I don’t care what their politics are, Barilla makes the best pasta and I’m going to continue buying it. Politics is one thing macaroni is another.

What the police left out of this was that in order to charge them with disorderly conduct (breach of peace in Connecticut) their INTENT had to be to cause alarm. If a person exercises a right only to cause alarm then the charges stick. Good luck proving that the intention of these men was to cause alarm.
Jesus loves White Trash too....and I bet He doesn't call them White Trash. Who are you (all of you looking down your snobbish big noses) calling them White Trash? Your all a bunch of judgmental snakes....worse than the White Trash you spit upon.

Even the Better Business Bureau was involved in a scandal a couple of years ago where they were charging businesses to give them a good rating. I’ve given good reviews and I’ve given bad reviews. But, in each, I’ve used my real name.

What kind of nut job brings their dog to a Muslim vet?
Oh now I get the agenda. Muslim hate. We do not know who took the video, so we do not know if this was a staged incident or not. It sure does look suspicious with that kind of comment.

If you can “beat a servant in front of sheriff’s deputies providing off-duty security” than you are above the law. Perhaps someone should ask these sheriffs why they did nothing they’ll tell you, “She’s above the law.”
