  Poor peole in the USA have it rough; I was one growing up. Later, when I was able to travel courtesy of Uncle Sam, I saw how many other people live. In parts of Europe 15 years after the end of WWII, an American GI was able to live above his pay grade because of his access to cheap american cigarettes and liquor. It was illegal to do that, but it was done. We had ration stamps for the amount of cigarettes one could buy at GI rates and liquor raions for the same. If one didn’t drink or smoke, you probably traded them among other GIs or even the local ladies in the town for services. They were poor. Poorer than the poor in the USA.

  How may poor people today can buy cell phones (even more than one) , how many TVs do people have, Do they have cable; many do. Do they have a car, more than one? Can they pay their rent and food bill? If they can, they are more wealty than many others in the world.

  I really feel sorrow for Obama’s half-brother in Kenya. Living in a very small one room thatched hut, living on a pittance, probably with less than $100.00 annual income. Why hasn’t Obama helped his brother out, unless the brother turned obama down. Living on a dirt floor, muddy when wet. Does he have a bicycle for transport? No good in the muddy streets; does he even have a street?

  It is a risky business lving poor in America. Always at the mercy of utility companies cutting off services. Higher food and gas prices because obama devalues the dollar with count

  No way !! I only eat good food that taste good, because it has flavorful fat in it. Butter is good, so is lard. Olive oil is way up there also. Some other oils are ok, some are not.

  I will decide what I eat, not the government.

  The tweeters are doing nothing more than reinforcing their imbecilic values on and for each others. They are not convincing enough to persuade reasonable, rationale people to change their values to become imbeciles.

  They do not persuade, just throw mud (hate) on others hoping it sticks. Real people should find out who they are and bombard their PCs with hundreds of messages to shut them down. Failing that, just walk away from them. Don’t even acknowledge them as rational people. An argument can’t continue unless both sides are spitting at each other.

  Pope Benedict XVI needs to perform a conscration of Russia with all the Bishops of the world ; as the Blessed Mother requested in 1917. If he doesn’t,. then he and we should cower with trepidation of the grief that will fall on all mankind as she had warned.

  This should have been done in 1960. We have lost more than 50 years ,for her blessings and her Son’s also. I fear that Russia will not convert as quickly as we would like; to avoid war and suffering of all the people of the world.

  These actiions from people who accuse the western culture of conducting a religious war against Islam. Islam is the product of a sick minded, thieving, pediphile, killer. You tell me how can Islam be a religion of peace? Word descriptions aside, most rational people judge be actions. Muslims have waged war on Christians for years.

  In 1804, President T. Jefferson sent the navy and marnines to the barbary coast to stop the pirates from enslaving Americans. He also said “millions for defense, not one penny for tribute”. Still good advice today. Islam comes from Shaitan.

  if youdon’t know the difference between the two govenments, then you’re in for a culture shock; a very bad one. When you wake up from your sleep, and China is in charge, you can only have one child-with permission. You also will be forced to give your days off to do work for the government, probably weeding the potato patch, or whatever. There’s lots more restrictions and to set them down here would be a book.
  Get your head out of the sand. Quit making a target of yourself.
