“We came across as careless and crass.”

So everyone thinks the employee should be the judge and jury. The guy was just trying to diffuse what was probably a tense situation. Novel idea, instead of asking everyone else to call the police do it yourself and inform them of where and what you are going to do. They will probably advise against it then feel inclined to send a unit when you disagree with them.

She handed her phone to a complete stranger, seems she has proven she makes bad decisions.

Simple solution. Sorry teachers, since we can’t have any religious recognition you will be required to work on every holiday. And no, you can’t use religious preference to take the day off. You know separation or church and state. You work for us so you’ll get no say just like the kids and their parents.

Oh, yes the kids get off so we’ll just consider it a teacher work day.

    Tunes would change REAL quick.

I just got a letter from BCBS that says the Pharmacy we use is not in our network so we have to go to one of the big name pharmacies. Mom and Pop shop, right across the hall from our pediatrician. We go in with a sick kid they fill the script right away so we can get going and get home. Now have to drop it off, wait at times, 5+ hours and go pick it up. If my wife or I are absent that involves getting said sick kid out of their warm bad to go pick it up.

Oh, and our rates went up 21% this year just so I could keep the plan that I like that isn’t really that likeable anymore……..

    What a joke……..

As long as no one else can do something similar. If someone is singing a pop tune possibly others don’t want to hear that. If they are talking amongst themselves and others happen to over hear it then to bad. Either topics can be discussed within groups or it’s quite time. If others can speak freely about what they like then so can these people. Just because they don’t want to hear it or don’t agree with it doesn’t give the school the right to silence them.

Maybe the school needs to define what can and can’t be DONE during these sessions, not what can and can’t be discussed.

She seems to have picked up the condescending ton of the current White House occupant. She’ll be crying pretty soon to move herself up in the poles.

Good thing I’m just an internet poster and not a journalist, huh!!!!????

  • [21] October 10, 2014 at 11:49am

How does an “journalist” not check their own copy and for that matter not see the squiggly red line of a spell checker. Not wanting to be a grammar Nazi but a journalist should be held to hire standards as it is their job.

Then incompetence and ineptitude it is. If there were conflicting accounts of what happened then it is in everyone’s best interest to shut up until the facts can be revealed. It wasn’t even a “we think” approach, it was “hands down” this is what happened when they knew, they knew, there was a chance they could be wrong. Black, white, brown or yellow they screwed up one way or another and as usual no one has been held accountable. If I ran my business the way the Government conducts itself I’d be out of business. Whether you are R or D incompetence is unacceptable.

I could be wrong but they “pulls” are designed in such a way the they use the light outside to illuminate them so they can be seen.

  • [22] September 30, 2014 at 10:48am

Because when they are asked “So why did you show up today” the response will be ‘I was paid to”.

Mark my words. This event will be brought up the next time a there is a mention of the border fence. Something like, “A fence can’t even keep someone out of the White House”

I’m sorry. The Cable Companies spent billions developing an infrastructure then NetFlix comes in and offers a service at a dirt cheap price since they don’t have to develop the infrastructure? If NetFlix is responsible for 50+% of the bandwidth used then they should pay for the strain on the infrastructure, see how long that $5.99 a month would last.

I’ve put zero on the tip line twice. Both times I asked 4 or more times for something that was never brought, at that point the server doesn’t deserve a tip.

Little tip(pun intended), write why you are not leaving a tip, especially if you are in the public eye. It may keep you from the now more common practice of social media public shaming.

While I wish we could pin this to her and have it made public her husband is not the person that is described above. I’m trying to connect the dots now.
