Just a joke guys... Glenn is always talking about Bill on the radio as I drive to work. He said he reached out to Maher to discuss it with him and the headline made me think it might have happened.
Here in the US there was Nidal Hassan guy who killed who thirteen due to his extremist religious views. That was certainly one person. Can anybody give me another example of a Muslim committing murder in this country? I'm sure you can find another example or two, but you'll find it's a lot easier to find examples of Christian murderers, at least in this country:
"A Kansas woman has been charged with first-degree murder after she beat and stabbed her 10-year-old son to death believing the boy would be better off in heaven, free from future suffering."
What I mean is that there are maybe 12 million Muslims in our country and they, as a group, are at least as peaceful as Christians or those of other religions. Crazy people of every religion use their religion as an excuse to kill people. There's nothing new about that.
Maybe somebody can find other examples of Muslims in the US who have killed people because of their religion besides Nidal Hassan. Then divide those instances by twelve million. I, personally, am more worried about getting struck by lightening.
Mornin ExtremeLiberal. Per your request.
And, of course. (Guess it takes a liberal to forget this one.)
Richalu, good research. You've given four examples of Muslim honor killings in the US over the last 25 years. Did you divide that by 12 million to determine if death by Muslim was more common than death by lightening strike? I'd say that's less likely.
How many times a year do you read that parents kill their children in the US because the think God is telling them too? A lot more than five in the last 25 years.
I still don't get why you're afraid of Muslims in this country.
ModRep (Chilean Marxist) of course you glossed over 9/11. That would be around 3000 murders you failed to mention.
Milton, the topic was the Muslims in America that everybody is so irrationally afraid of.
If you want to talk about Muslims abroad, how many innocent Iraqi Muslim citizens were killed when the US invaded Iraq? Estimates range from 150,000 to 500,000.
I'm just pointing out how irrational it is to fear hate the 12 million Muslims in the US, when for every act by one of them you can point to an equal number of Christians killing because of their religion. It's not rational and not very Christian either. Jesus didn't preach much about hating people.
ExtrmLib. How typically liberal of you to choose the link that denotes the ‘smallest’ number killed. (6, not 4)
Also, ahhh, hate to be the bearer of truth to those not wishing the truth, but the 9/11 hijackers were in the US for months before they hi-jacked those planes. 9/11 didn’t happen “abroad”.
As for the math, With 3097 killed by Muslims in the US since 1972, I get .000258. Now would you please find all those CONFIRMED Christian killings, and divide by 300 million. You can start with the two that you’ve already posted.
Thank you. Oh and personally, I’ll take my chances with the lightening.
ModLiar - the hijackers were not living abroad as EVERYONE knows. So take your bs elsewhere. Go live in Dearborne and let me know how that works out for you. Irrational! It's completely irrational! You don't even believe the things you post, which makes you a pathetic little man.
Again, you're confusing my point, which was about is about American Muslims. The hijackers weren't American Muslims.
And Richalu, you're even more confused about math. Take your six American Muslims who presumably killed because of their religion. Divide 6 bad Muslims /12,000,000 Muslims who never harmed an American. You get a fraction which represents the percentage of violent Muslims in the US in the last 25 years. Let's see, click, click, click: 0.000005% of American Muslims have committed honor killings (of family members). And on that basis you fear Muslims?
And if you want to use the 9-11 terrorist, I'll call you and raise you 500,000 dead Muslims in Iraq killed by the war God told Bush to fight.
ExtremeLib. Apparently you just can’t stand truth and reason. What was I thinking trying to point it out to you. A liberal can’t be argued with when they want to only believe what they want to believe, as opposed to reality.
Do love though how "a Muslim" became an "American Muslim", just so you could continue making whatever vague point you were trying to make.
Have a good rest of your day.

I wonder if the hacker also makes clocks and just met the President….

Where can I contribute to this family… May god’s love comfort them an protect them at this time and always… No words for this
i would have done the same thing for my family. god bless the mother and child.
Houston is a dangerous place. Was this hero father armed? Although I am guilty now and again of leaving the house sans firearm, stories like this remind me that monsters are lurking everywhere. I am very glad the perp didn't get far. At least this father not only saved the life of his family, but maybe the lives of others that this perp would have taken months or years later.
Agreed John, no words for the evil taking place in the world today. Please God help us fix this.
Sounds like the dad was armed, he shot the perp, but it was not an immediately lethal shot(s) and the perp returned fire. Just guessing of course, but if accurate it is one reason I carry a .45 acp with hollow points and keep my shooting skills up..
Where's the picture of the POS who destroyed this family?
And the perp? What color? How old? Criminal past? Important details that are missing because the truth has become predictable.
Agreed john. Much respect to this man. He died doing what men do - protecting their families. Bless this family.
Any Male can Father a child, it take a True Man to be a Great Father. The Father of this Child is one of the best Fathers of all time in my book. God Bless and Comfort this family.
I too would like to contribute.

@east… No need for any political commentary. The lights are beautiful and a somber way to remember those lost. I pray they serve to remind us all to seek light over darkness, truth instead of falsehood, and honor above wealth.
We must never forget that liberty can only belong to those that are willing to defend it. The best way to honor those lost is to embrace our founding principles and restore our sacred honor both here and around the globe.
Eradicating the madness of Islam would be a good start.

If this were a private business instead of the government, the lawsuit wold run into the BILLIONS, execs would face prison time and those affected would see millions in damages… but the government is, so nothing to see, so move along.

This man easily ranks as the second worst president of my lifetime, (Obummer is #1), but at this time my prayers and sympathies lie with him and his family.
My second presidential election. Carter was worse than any disappointment that I'd had earlier in my life, and I must say that I never cared for any of his politics. But, at the same time, may God bless, and watch over he and his family.
Truth be known, ALL of us have a cancer: it's called sin, and it will kill everyone of us some day. In fact, if the earth survives another 125 years, it will have an entirely different population then than it does now.
I am ready for my death (though I want to postpone it as long as possible), for I have trusted Jesus Christ as my Saviour, and I am trust Him and Him alone for my eternal life.
I hope Carter is as well.
How about you? Are you ready?
if Carter wasn't such a spectacular failure, we might not have gotten Reagan.
he gets some credit for that in my book.
i wish this delusional, but kind-hearted, man all the best.
In my 50+ years on this Earth, I have come to ascertain Cancer & Alzheimer's suck. JC is by far the 2nd worst President ever to have served this country. That's his professional life. For his personal life and that of his family I wish him God Speed.
Carter has had a lot more to be thankful for than he deserves.
I don't know, Harding, Jackson and Wilson spring to mind as worse presidents.
I hope he enjoys the retirement plan that he invested in serving satan
No you're prayers and sympathies are not with him and his family.
If you actually cared about his well being, then you would have made his health the priority. Instead so many people put his politics first and claim he's a horrible person but yet you somehow care about his health.
No you don't care if he lives or dies.
You don't care about all the families he's helped to build houses for.
You don't care about his foundation and all the peace deals they have been involved in.
You don't care that he has been on the forefront in nearly eradicating Guinea Worm.
You don't care that his foundation helped oversee fair elections in numerous countries.
The release of the prisoners in Iran wasn't because Reagan was sworn in. It was a final middle finger to Carter since the negotiations were settled back in December.

“Obama lied, people died”, or ‘Obama, king of Islam”….
Hard to tell from the pictures as my pig-latin is not what it used to be.
 August 6, 2015 at 3:13pm
agreed… but maybe he meant it’s time to put all the socialist/communist politicians that force the cops to enforce un-Constitutional laws in body bags, and for the treasonous ones, I could even agree.
Somehow I doubt that though…

If Obama had a brother…. oh wait, he does and he is nothing like him.

I sense something… a presence I have not felt since……………………………………………
MSNBC is trying to gain relevance by subtly shifting to the right. This example is proof that among them, nobody at MSNBC is a journalist, but rather a sorry collection of the worst script readers and bad actors ever to appear on television.
Does anybody think Blathering Mathews came up with that question on his own? All the out of work day time soap writers must be cooking this stuff up
