  • Gad, I can’t believe I’m stuck with this classless hack as my Senator until such time as I either leave Massachusetts or (gasp) she decides to take her “working-class hero” schtick national.

  • All this does is validate my decision to leave the catholic church 2-weeks prior to Christmas. Sheesh, @RichJimMurph had this spot-on – where the heck is all this “unregulated capitalism” happening?

Here’s a hint, it was central planning and fascism that failed, utterly, to protect ‘the poor’ during the 2008 collapse. What the pope is prescribing is more poison for the patient. No thanks.

  • I’m sorry, but this is idiotic. First, we’re less than 2-months from the LAST election – when the GOP got it’s hindquarters handed to it – and we’re to expect they will be in anything other than “disarray” at this point? Seriously? Calm the panic, lads.

And second, given his track record since about 2006, is there any particular reason we should listen to Karl Rove ever again on, well, anything related to electoral politics?

Oh, I know – this is nothing that tossing the Tea Party folks under the bus cannot fix, right Karl?

Sheesh – the faster the GOP suffers their well-deserved relegation to the dustbin of history the faster a true right-of-center party can rise to take it’s place.

  • No – but what they need to do is to stop, for Heaven’s sake, talking about the “impossible” (like banning abortion in ALL cases, including rape – or even talking about “rape” at all) before they’ve even made significant headway on the low-hanging-fruit (like banning infanticide – i.e. partial-birth abortion – and protecting abortion survivors).

  • The only, and I mean ONLY, reason the election tomorrow is going to be even remotely close is precisely because of this sort of serial malpractice, Obama-butt covering by our allegedly “impartial” media deciders.

These criminals spent 2-years building a religion around a then obscure 1-term Illinois senator and then have spent the last 4-years spinning every modest success into “a world changing event” and every failure into “Bush’s/Congress’/Republicans’/Anyone-else’ fault”. And you watch – they just might drag Choomy McFailPrompter’s carcass across the Presidential finish-line tomorrow night.

  • @Pearsontech

Well bucko, count me as a “NO” vote who would still be a “NO” vote if a wide swath of Red America was impacted by the storm. Got any other smarmy snark to add to the discussion?

  • Bravo, Axel – perfectly said.

Hilarious that the AAP, the same hacks pushing tons of dangerous psycho pharma (Luvox, Paxil, Effexor, Prozac, etc. etc. etc.) on kids as young as 6, think “guns” are a “problem” they feel qualified to address.

  • When your political philosophy – to the extent it can be so called – is predicated on the infantilization of the population and the infinite perpetuation of adolescence among the masses, why should we be surprised that the subjects of such a philosophy treat every issue like a scene from Jackass or Punk’d?

That their utter non-seriousness regarding deadly serious issues such as war, terrorism, never-ending deficits and the entitlement culture literally gets people killed is completely lost on them. Of course.

  • So, you’ll be resigning any day now, Madame Secretary? No? Of course not. Reno… Holder… and now Clinton – dead civilians, zero accountability.

And actually, she didn’t “take full responsibility” for anything. “…the decisions about security are made by security professionals…” She just threw he own “security professionals” under the bus. How very… Clintonian.

  • I wonder if there are any aspirin factories in Libya.

But remember, Romney and Ryan are the ones who are politicizing Benghazi.
