  @Freedom Hound. Incorrect! You are under NO obligation, per the 4th Amendment, to produce ID nor be held for even 1 second just because a cop asks. Video and upload in real time to YouTube, ask the officer nicely if you’re being detained by arrest, and if not, tell him you are politely and peaceably walking away. If he detains you further, don’t resist, go peacefully, give the YouTube video to your attorney and have the city buy you a nice new Hummer and pay your house off for violating your civil rights. Who am I? An attorney that racks up out of control cop thugs for civil rights violations every day.
