  Your ignorance is astounding. What an indictment of the culture we find ourselves in. No doubt a government “educated” individual.   What’s the problem here?? There are countless “black only” scholarships. Why is that okay and this isn’t??? Blacks are no longer a minority, not to the point where they need government to hold their hand and make sure everyone on the play ground is playing nice. SCHOLARSHIPS SHOULD BE GIVEN FOR MERIT NOT FOR SKIN COLOR!

  You’re a special kind of stupid, get the gay out from between your ears and pay attention. I said the most gay people I KNOW, as in personally know on a first name basis you twit. THEY are embarrassed by the loud mouth “We’re here we’re queer” people. The ones I KNOW (again, personally know) are in the minority of their people. If you pulled your head out of your tail (or that of your partners) and paid attention to what someone writes and actually think about BEFORE responding it may save you some embarrassment of your own, possibly show that even though you are, for the most part, ignorant, you can at least follow a logical thought of someone else.

  No, I’m just a Native American Indian, we’ve never been persecuted. By ignorant I’ll assume you mean obvious. My comments only piss you off because they are true. Are there some gay people and couples that go on their way and want no special attention absolutely. I would say they are the minority of that minority group. As far as me personally knowing any gay people, of course I do. The majority of the gays I know get annoyed with their like that scream for attention just as much as I do. The fact this teacher held her position for as long as she did and the school still chose the course of action that they did just shows how much of an issue they thought it was. Like I said, I’m sure it wasn’t a surprise to her that once they found out they took the action that they did.

  She didn’t make an issue of it, because she KNEW it would be an issue to the school. Not saying something can and IS the definition of lying by omission. The fact the school fired her probably wasn’t a shock to her, the timing may have been. However, it being a religious institution she knew damn good and well what the consequences were. Don’t try to play this for something it isn’t. You’re attempt at making her this martyr and victim is a bit ridiculous. You keep trying to characterize it as her not wanting to make a big deal of it. Homosexuals aren’t known for being meek and quiet about your sexual orientation. You have freakin parades for how proud you are of what gender you have sex with. A bit stupid and boisterous of you. You don’t see hetero parades with hetero flags and bumper stickers saying “I’m straight and proud!” Get over yourselves! Oh yeah.. and Minnesota… one more state down the toilet.

  Their firing her is not immoral. It may not be compassionate as her mother just passed. However morality has nothing to do with their decision. She lied to them, she did so because she knew they wouldn’t have given her the job to begin with had they known, and if they found out would result in exactly what happened. She showed the capacity to not only lie, but to continue to do so. It’s not like she was stealing office supplies. If she could and would keep something this big a secret from the administration what else would she be capable of hiding? It’s a PRIVATE school with their own set of rules. If you don’t like it, find employment.schooling elsewhere. No one said you or any homosexual had to like it. Believe it or not, that’s not everyone’s motive, to “protect homosexual sensitivities” Peoples feelings get hurt everyday, get over it.
