  These people of Moms Demand Action can’t see reality, so they can’t think of any way to act other than to ban “bad things.”

  HERE’S THE TRUTH THAT”S NOT SPOKEN. Intentional or not, the left leaning social agenda begun in the 1960′s has systematically destroyed all of the societal and moral bastions that used to shield us from problems like mass killings. The left leaning agenda, hell bent on tearing down the ideals of a society in which success and wealth had to be earned, destroyed the “man” in America; it took away his responsibility and bit by bit he walked away until only a small amount of young men in America actually understand the critical role they should play in making a successful family, community and country. There are very few good dads that care for good kids and loving good wives. Kids grow up with substitute role models thinking their dads, if they know them, are losers. Nothing grounds these kids. There is no sense of morality. There is no family faith. Of course they will not value life. They don’t stop to render aid when needed. They don’t take responsibility for their children (govt does that..c’mon), and they don’t take responsibility for improving themselves so they can be an example to others. ALL THESE THINGS WERE COMMONPLACE WHEN I WAS A KID IN PHILADELPHIA SUBURBS IN THE 1970′s.

  Don’t let the children have died “without doing something real,” like taking the rights guaranteed by the bill of rights from law abiding citizens…

  Adam Lanza was a lost soul with mental health issues AND a lousy father, so let’s change the bill of rights. Does this sound good to anyone when put this way? I can’t believe this is the America for which I, my brother and father served. I can’t believe it is the America for which my uncle Joe died. What about all the servicemen who died…was it for something real? They died to preserve real freedom, the constitution and the American way of life. How about them? There have been hundreds of thousands who have died in uniform…let’s not let their deaths have happened for nothing. Let’s NOT spit on their graves simply because we can’t raise our own children. What a sad, stupid, pathetic lot we are if we can’t stop this. Spread the message of individual freedom and responsibility.

  “…nothing is more powerful than millions of voices calling for change.” So please stop thinking and using reason and listen to me says Obama. Hold on folks, the reason he’s doing it is because public opinion is against him. He’s pleading…he’s failing.

  1. Educate your self and your friends cause only the uniformed and those with a statist agenda would want to disarm the populace.

  2. Communicate to the government on all levels that leaders should be teaching and encouraging people to raise their kids with love, honor and respect in their hearts…instead of running around campaigning to destroy our Bill of Rights.

  I can’t believe Meteor went for the look what Bush spent angle! Like anyone on this site gives a rats bottom what Bush did… I hated the ground Bush walked on. This is hysterical. It is no more cynical and silly to ask what Obama’s golf outings cost than it is for the government to say we can’t see the white house because of a small percentage cut to future spending. The whole concept is stupid. Maxine Waters’ 170 million job thing is the whole problem in a nutshell. Stupid, lazy, entitled politicians elected by stupid lazy entitled citizens.

  No one wants to do the work. The work of deciding what to cut takes brains. The work of convincing people its right to cut takes leadership. The work of executing the cut takes initiative and attention to detail. We don’t currently have the quality of personnel we need in DC to get this done. Bottom Line….WE SUCK. As a population we are uneducated baffoons and in Washington we’re worse…uneducated baffoons with power. God Help Us.

  Dishonest and disingenuinous garbage. What Obama cannot accomplish by reason he will try to accomplish by coersion, manipulation and ultimately…force. It’s the only way.

  One could never convince a reasonable man that he’s safer without his state of the art rifle…sorry. This whole subject is fallacious. I told my rep that my right to bear arms precedes this union and republic and should be defended accordingly by him.

  Colin Powell is not an honest man.

  If I was from a race where 72% of the children were born to unwed mothers, and where 8000 blacks are murdered by other blacks annually by other blacks, I’d be looking for someone to blame too. He is effectively blaming the white culture for the blacks’ moral failure.

  Let’s be honest and upfront. The first place I heard the term “shuckin and jivin” was in the first “ROCKY” movie in the mid 1970′s. I was about 7 years old. I thought is was a funny term and it was used by a BLACK trainer of Apollo Creed in the film. I remember it clear as day. He said, “I want you to quit schuckin and jivin’, and I want you to stick and move.” I’ve used the term ever since to denote someone dancin’ around like an idiot but getting nothing done. Palin’s use of the phrase was, in my opinion, accurate when referring to Obama.

  Colin Powell is the one who convinced us all to go into Iraq and go after Saddam cause he had WMD and was harboring Al Qeada. I remember him on the TV, at the U.N., making the case so BOTH parties supported it. He is a side switching, fair weather friend who has neither conviction or principle. He’ll do and say what is necessary to line his pocket. As a 44 year old veteran I would happily give him a piece of my mind.   That ENCINOM is a poor misled soul and I feel for him. I also feel for all the sheep who have been taught no responsibility. I feel for the children who have been raised (or not raised) by parents who didn’t teach them discipline, respect and how to live a purpose driven life. I feel for the people who don’t know love. I feel for the people that don’t know God. They don’t know our lives have value and that as we seek God we glorify him and bring respect and honor to ourselves. Just because I feel for these people who will never know the happiness that comes when you have love, respect, faith, freedom and responsibility; doesn’t mean I’m willing to sacrifice my freedom for them. US Citizens have the freedom deserved by moral and responsible people. Problem is that we do not not act like moral and responsible people ESPECIALLY in how we pursue houses full of junk at the expense of our children. Our president disrespects the dead in Sandy Hook and their parents by not addressing the real problem. Bad parenting. Cultural bankruptcy. Social breakdown due to lack of male role models.   As socialism and communism rise…so too do senseless killings and suicides. Buckle up. We will see the blame placed on the weapons instead of the intitutions that created the shooters in Liberal bastions like Colorado and Oregon and in liberal Universities around the country.

  People are overwhelmed and depressed. They have no salvation to turn to in this world or the next. Without God we could all go bezerk…that is the point and always has been.
