Prohibition wasn’t about staving human alcohol consumption…it was about progressive robber barons crippling a growing private ethanol production trend by farmers and ranchers.
The progressives, now hot on the alternative energy bandwagon and gravy train, have set their targets on triclosan. Wide use in the western world has seen it show in the water supply. Triclosan greatly impedes algae from producing lipids…and well, that just doesn’t sit well for folks like Al Gore who are deeply vested in algae biofuel projects, of which the Pentagon gladly pays upwards of $50/gallon for.

TheBlaze decided 4 months into its tenure that hiring the former head of Huffington Post to lead it was in its best interest. A couple years later, you are seeing the fruit of said leadership.
Trashy, irrelevant, MSM-esque reports and articles get TheBlaze more clicks and ad rev- and that’s what’s important for them apparently.
TheBlaze runs 6 analytics applications on this site. SIX. Not including basic server weblogs. HuffPo comparatively runs 6. The best sites and their staffs get the job done with 2 or fewer, utilizing more than 1 often times simply to crosscheck their preferred analytics platform.
This should tell you where TheBlaze’s priorities and “expertise” lie.
Please get back to what you promised this creation would be, TheBlaze.
“The new order follows recommendations this year from the U.S. Preventive Service Task Force that all 15 to 65 year olds be screened for HIV infection, something that will be covered under Obama’s signature heath reform, the Affordable Care Act.”
Article by article…TheBlaze slowly becoming every other MSM site.

While I appreciate when you report on a spade being a spade, in an assumed effort to show truth and non-biased coverage of the world around us- a month from now, please don’t pretend to be surprised and write “how did it come to this?!” articles when progressives attempt to put forth legislation taking guns away from “mentally ill” Americans, which by their definition will include people who drink caffeine in the AM or sleep in a certain position at night.
We know some of your current leadership stems from HuffPo, which equates to sensationalism to gain site traffic. Please stop playing us like a fiddle and instead continue to create a different orchestra altogether.
The day is a third over, and all your top headlines currently are sensationalizing race, how NFL players invest, and other insignificant randomness…and not even a mention of the retired IRS whistle blower testifying today, heck, not even the fact that Obama signed an Executive Order two days ago which aims to mandate required blood tests for EVERY American between the age of 15 to 65 in the name of “HIV detection”.
Please report what matters…don’t continue to slide into the MSM realm. If I wanted viral video updates, top ten cities to use a public restroom reports, etc.- I can reference any one of 100 alternative “quirky” news sites.
You sold us on a higher purpose…please deliver.

“No I’m not omniscient. But I did stay at a liberal arts college dorm last night.”

And yet, the irony, @MoreAndAgain seeks and answers the call of fame when Questlove and Good Morning America come knocking.

Ahhhh yes, “Kadima”…progressive Israelis in favor of the two-state solution, negative income taxes, gay marriage, etc.
It would of course make sense that you call Scientology an excellent religion. Your IP address probably originates in Clearwater.

“U.S. Rep. Tim Mahoney said fighting for legislation that sets the stage for the Indian River Lagoon cleanup and bio-fuel production in the agricultural communities around Lake Okeechobee topped his list of accomplishments in his first year in office.”
First create the problem, then provide the solution. Progressive playbook 101.
Former U.S. Rep. Mahoney (D) sure was keen on building algae biofuel plants around Indian River Lagoon and surrounding areas long before it was cool amongst all progressives. Then low and behold, a local (@rainroom61) begins to notice the new Park Service leadership is switching to unorthodox procedures which lead to…massive algae blooms. Surprise!
You may not be a card carrying member of any “committee” but don’t kid yourself that you’re not a blowhard foot soldier of the leftist shillitary, in all of your enlightened splendor.
The irony of “omniscient” trolls like you is that the true colors of how glib you really are shine like a beacon unbeknownst to you.

A few years ago, it snowed in Corpus Christi, TX for the first time in 40 years…not just a slight dusting, but over 8 inches even on the beach. 2 years later, it happened yet again in Corpus Christi. It rarely reaches below 55 in the winter months in South TX.
Progressives claim that any single weather event cannot disprove their global warming “law” [they skipped the "theory" aspect of the scientific process and went straight from hypothesis to law].
Wildfire breaks out in a Southwestern state in the summer (shocker!) and now its smoking gun proof of global warming.
