  • Aid packages are named to garner emotional support but when you read the fine print, they almost ALWAYS have some pork (often doubling the cost) in them to please some special interest group. So if you vote against it you are labeled a ‘heartless, greedy, uncaring Republican’ and if you vote for it then you are caring – but stupid — person and are willing to accept the added cost and foolishness associated with it. Danged if you do, and Danged if you don’t. In Gov’t the only winners are the ones keeping their power to the detriment of the freedoms and liberties of the rest.

  • All I can say is that our hearts and prayers are pouring out for those poor souls who have suffered such a tragedy – especially for the innocent children. May God bless their families and help them heal after such a horrific ordeal.

  • WOW. You would never guess that there was a common sentiment that permeated these posts. I agree, this guys looks stupid and definitely acted stupid. He will be let off with a short stay and it will be chalked up to the reason of an unfortunate ‘social envionrment’ that was out of his control which is why (as we will be told) that we need more social programs to help these poor youths. No racist intent, but I wonder how many brothers and sisters he has from different fathers and whether he even knew his father. Obviously a strong leader in the home. Why do I feel that our whole society is not just slipping down the drain, but rapidly free-falling into oblivion. We MUST get off the politicall-correct band wagon and inject some common sense into the leaders. I was always against term limits and thought that the natural process of dumping the old trash in the polling booth was the way but any more, I have to consider the idea of dumping 90% or ALL the trash in DC now and starting fresh with spending limites for re-election, ham-string lobbyist, cut the clown’s benefit package, and make them actually work for a living and hold them accountable for this train wreck.

  • I couldn’t really give an honest opinion comparing Stu against the stooge because I can’t stand watching or listening to that clown for more than the time it takes to click, click. Stu on the other hand has at least shared the truth. You rock Stu (or should I say Future WH Press Secretary)

  • It has not been awarded since 1997 because most people from Iowa haves too much common sense to be caught dead at columbia. The prefer the smell of cornfields than they do Socialist Dogma.

  • Everytime I think that I cannot be amazed at the stupidity, arrogance, and downright racist comments posed by another person — regardless of race or color — I read the comments by this guy. He even said it with a straight face. What does he call the OWS clowns. Compare a Tea Party gathering and you see calm, polite, well-behaved people trying to make a statement about the failing course of our once great nation. On the other hand, everytime you see a group from the Left all you see is hate, violence, filth, etc. Who is calling whom the Taliban of politics?

  • That’s like saying that the bible and religion has created a hostile environment for Satan worshipers.

  • You can use common math to show the libs the errors of their ways. Although they can add and subtract very well. They add debt, burden, taxes, and idiotic policies and yet they subtract liberty, truth, and the need for adhering to the constitution. Mr. G. is a true reflexion of what this Comm in Chump is all about — Lack of common sense, ego, stupidity, arogance, and distain for the American philosophy. My only regret is his leaving is that I’m afraid of who will take his place. I mean really, looks who’s stepping into the State Dept. America, what a country, where even the most ill-equiped among us can ascend to power.

  • Although this city is not in Chicago, as Chicago goes, so goes the state. I lived in Western IL for 2 years and although it was a very small town, I still felt the thuggish dominion of Chicagoland. I often wished that that little town could have just been anexed into IA. Pretty soon the State will mandate licenses to carry toenail clippers or ban them altogether. It’s obvious how well the strict guns laws in Chicago has reduced the gun crime rate. Wow, what a model city. I wonder if we could convince Canada to adopt them. Naw, they wouldn’t want it either and it’s too far from Mexico for them to take over. Plus it would only mean the difference in language spoken between the idiotic power lords running the show. ¿Me entiendes?

  • MM is not only fat, stupid and ugly, he doesn’t have a clue of the principles on which this country was founded and was made great. He abuses and decries the very rights and greatness of which he takes advantage. If he loves Cuba so much, he really should live there. Who is willing to chip in $5 each for a one-way ticket???
