My dad would LOVE this post! Not only was he always looking for the “Eureka!”, new technology for every problem; but he tried in vain to teach me how to sharpen knives my entire adult life. He was successful in teaching me many things, including “trying” every food once, raising meat and egg chickens, cutting up a butchered chicken, etc, etc, but actually getting me to butcher a chicken, or sharpen a knife were unsuccessful! The dirty little secret is that he enjoyed doing them so much that I never HAD to learn them. LOL!

I can hear him now, “Julia, that’s great! Buy it!”

    Right Wing,
I don’t think they are teaching it theologically, they are teaching it as “a” philosophical, historical, literary text. In that vein it is actually LESS offensive than many of the texts that public school students have been exposed to in the name of a “well-rounded” education.

When you watch his videos you sort of “get” that he may have been making a “statement”, (although I’m not sure even HE knew what the main “point” of his statement was).

Actually, he doesn’t seem to take himself or his gay-ness so seriously, and In a twisted way, his videos are humorous. His choice of accessorizing his Boston Marathon get-up with a RICE COOKER, however, was not. I’m not sure he is mentally stable enough, though, to understand that, or be held culpable.

My Nephew, who is a parole deputy employed in Chester County, (right next door), is a dead ringer for that cop! And he told me he was interviewing to get in Lancaster Bible College! :)

So we’ll ration our OWN care, right?

So THAT’S how they plan to make the Obamacare thing work! Make it so stinkin’ scary to take our sick, elderly or young children to the hospital that the only ones who will want to go there are people who are too dumb to know what’s up!

RealLibertarian: I agree with you from a Liberty standpoint; but I am happy for this young man coming to such a personal understanding of his own convictions, finally being true to them, and even having the grace to admit his own responsibility for his participation, and apologizing for the somewhat crude and rude way he handled it.
I don’t think he is suggesting public censorship; he is encouraging Self-Censoring, (kind of a Lost Art in our culture, wouldn’t you say?)

Yes, I was amused to see an actor holding up a sign declaring, “get covered”, on this day when most of the female population of Hollywood make a heroic effort to arrive at the Oscars as “not covered” as possible. They exist in such a Bubble that they can’t possibly imagine what a JOKE they are to the rest of us; Fiddling as Rome burns.

So I don’t remember his name either. Does that make me a racist?

No; It means I am a 60 year old grandma, whose two sons have moved out of the house, and who is, therefore, OUT OF TOUCH with FOOTBALL!

    Duuuuuuuhhhhh!

    Several thoughts come to mind:
-That woman and her daughter are going to have a long, lonely time to regret the STUPID FIGHT that started all this.
    - If ANYONE was beating my husband to death, I would have battle scars, NOT cell-phone footage!

And WHAT pray tell, Mr. Oblivious, are YOU? You’ll be too busy kissing @$$e$ to have time for popcorn. That’s what really defines a coward! Pleas leave our country to the care of those of us who actually KNOW what we believe it should be. Or at least come out of the closet and admit you are a Lib!

Nobody who I viewed on the video looked too upset; I understand why some do not see the relation of culling and animal health, or the problems created by in-breeding. I breed animals, and just this morning ordered some new stock to improve the diversity of my flock. It might be good if those criticizing educated themselves on such things. Of course that would demand using your BRAIN, not just your EMOTIONS!

I understand not casually assuming that WE can set the agenda, and call on Gods power to fulfill it, treating Him as a Genie to fulfill our wishes. But He definitely provides and empowers us to doHis ministry. I KNOW He has worked on
Hubby’s and my behalf in ways we could never have done in raising our grandchildren! And in the case of Tebow, he seems to use everything Gd brings him to glorify God, seeing his life as ministry, so I would count that the same!

    The BEST comment yet!!!

Most people figure out what they can use, and what they can’t. When I had babies they all had sensitive skin like mine. That was when the diapers came out that had the gelling substance in them that made them “ultra”, (to hold more liquid), and some mothers would keep their kids in a diaper WAY TO LONG with those. My kids would break out in a terrible rash if I ever used one of those. Worked out fine for me, because I found a store brand without that which worked fine, and I saved a LOT OF MONEY by not using the “latest” in diaper design. $$$!

They were working an accident; Sorry the accident didn’t happen in a way that enabled them to “park legally”. Sheeze!

“…as I am most concerned for their well-being.”

Yeah, so am I, Pal. Especially since when your fingers do the walking, it obviously isn’t in the Yellow Pages getting a job! They’re not in very good hands, and in very serious trouble with you, you Jerk!

Why don’t you try running for Politics? That line is the excuse THEY always use, too!

  • January 5, 2014 at 8:21pm

It’s funny you mentioned his acting, because that was my immediate thought; How do I know he would make a good governor? He THINKS he could do a good job, but then, he ALSO thinks he can act! Hmmmm….

The same experiment was done by a gentleman whose name I cannot recall; the documentary was called “Fat Head” and it is fantastic! I used to be on Netflix, but not recently. If enough of you contact them and request it on streaming, I will be able to watch it again.

    Get to it! LOL!
