‘#My2K’: White House Spreading ‘Fiscal Cliff’ Message With Hashtag — Here’s How People Are Responding
November 28, 2012 at 11:30am
You are so right. But that’s what you get when the rulers make their own rules.
Oh, Man: ‘Two and a Half Men’ Star Now Apologizes for Calling His Own Show ‘Filth’
November 28, 2012 at 11:13am
Trolltrainer, That is an apology by todays standards. You no longer apologize for what you said, you apologize if people were offended by what you said.
S.E. Cupp vs. Liberal Nun: A Clip You’ll Probably Want to See
November 16, 2012 at 10:50am
Typical liberal, even if she is a nun. Disregard the question and proceed to you talking points.
I really don’t understand the liberal logic of increasing the minimum wage. How can they not realize that cost of goods are impacted by wages?
Are Self-Checkouts Already Fading Away? The Numbers May Surprise You
September 26, 2011 at 3:18pm
Theft is absolutely the number one reason they are doing away with the self checkout. A less than honorable acquaintance of mine spoke of the two for one “sales” and entering the code of lesser priced fruits and vegetables for more expensive ones.
Personally it all depends on what I have to check out. If it’s a whole basket of stuff I’ll use the cashier. If it’s only a couple of items I’ll use the self checkout.
George Will Confronts MSNBC Analyst for Comparing Tea Party to Terrorists

Great point regarding tax revenue being speculative. And the revenue from Bush tax cuts (shouldn’t they be called the obama tax cuts since he extended them?), even if the economy didn’t slow down, would only be a drop in the bucket compared to how they are spending it.
But unfortunately the way washington works spending cuts are speculative as well.
Rapper Kanye West: ‘People Look at Me Like I’m…Hitler’
August 8, 2011 at 9:17am
One day the light may shine down on Kanye and he may realize he’s just an entertainer. A controversial entertainer at that. A microphone does not make an opinion valid. More entertainers need to realize this.
Entertainers also need to realize everybody is not entertained by the same things. If he wants to be loved by everyone his best bet would be to buy a few cardigan sweaters and start doing Pat Boone covers and keep his commentary to “spay and neuter your pets”.

I hope the republicans use those debt ceiling voting numbers often during the election season. I hope they remind everyone of the closed door discussions during the health care legislation. I hope they bring up every republican proposal that was tabled by Reid and Pelosi with out allowing any discussion let alone a vote. These are all going to have to be paid ads because the press will never tell the story and will portray them as attack ads regardless of how much truth is involved. Democrats need to be shown for what they are, uncompromising elitists who want to dictate rather than legislate.
Study: All Major News Outlets Have Left-Leaning Bias that ‘Distorts’ Minds

It seems that whenever I “discuss” with my liberal friends various current events in the news I hear, “where did you read that” or “I never heard that”.
It may be bias, it may just be laziness.
I’m sure it’s been around a lot longer but the lack of reporting stories really seemed to kick into high gear during Clinton’s term. The press used to laugh at how the White House was trying to manipulate them, and yet it would never be followed up on. They would just report what they were told.

It used to be that people went into journalism to find the truth, now it’s to change the world.
Chrysler Workers Again Caught Smoking & Drinking On the Job — ‘Steps Away’ from Union Hall

It’s an immediate response to come across as tough and then once it quiets down they get to return to work. They may get transfered to a different plant to keep them out of the news.
