  • Agree. Media runs the country, either because they are made to or choose to or some combination of the two.

Someone explain to me, the murderer broke the law by discharging a firearm into a crowd of people. So we already know he doesn’t care about the law. Any chance the handgun was obtained legally? Not very likely since that would have made the criminal easier to apprehend. So, we can easily conclude that this CRIMINAL was just fine breaking 2 laws. But many people believe the solution is to draw up another imaginary line, that one more law will make this senseless crimes disappear. How does that even make sense?

And please, have an open mic no prompter Q&A session with President Obama and the First Lady. Ask them some questions to see if they even understand issues. E.G. Define “automatic weapons” and “assault rifles” and use them in a sentence.

  • I don’t know if I am understanding everything correctly. So she is speaking out against rape and says she was raped. She also says that the school didn’t believe her initial report that she was raped. Why did she not go to the police? Then there would be no gray area. Seems like the University is saying, “Everyone knows who your ex is. Even though you aren’t saying his name as you are speaking out against rape and saying your were raped several times by your ex-boyfriend, everyone knows who you are talking about.”

You can’t go around saying things like that without some evidence. I don’t blame UNC for saying they could kick her out if she doesn’t stop. It’s ok to speak out against rape, it’s not ok to say without proof that someone has raped you multiple times.

  • I answered yes simply because there are words that shouldn’t be said in any social setting, whether on a plane or not. I can’t turn to my wife and say, “Can I f*** the s*** out of you when we get to Vegas?” on a freaking airplane, because I shouldn’t say that anywhere. As for words that aren’t offensive or inappropriate, certainly context means a great deal. However, the Blaze painted me in a corner with their less than precise question.

  • @Encinom,

Hey buddy, thanks for proving that Americans are more bigoted towards people of other faiths. You seem really classy though, you must have a really attractive spouse/partner/girlfriend/boyfriend, whatever your preference may be.

  • Sorry RLTW, my post to Soybomb was meant to go one comment down. I am sure I clicked the right reply box, but maybe not. Either way, your comment is 100% true. Obama won by dividing the country then galvanizing enough numbers to win the election. Basically told the nation Republicans hate women, immigrants, minorities, and poor people. He community organized himself right back into the White House with arguably the worst first term record in history.

If you think about it though, it was a brilliant strategy. Think about all the statistical analyses that were run in order to determine the best way to attack the republican party. One thing is for sure, the Obama campaign did what they are paid to do. Get a losing candidate a victory. Either they are really good or Americans are really stupid, or some combination of the two.

  • The first time Obama ran Springsteen wrote a glowing recommendation for him in Rolling Stone Magazine. The same magazine also printed a smear piece on Romney and his “magic underwear”. I no longer read Rolling Stone.

I know Bruce has some great music and has been in the business a long time, but anyone who gives Obama that much support is not someone I think very highly of. Christie called Obama to thank him for the meeting and cried like a little girl. He then gushed to anyone and everyone how great and Presidential Obama has been. This all comes right before election. Either Christie is a dumbass or purposely sabotaged Romney, wanting to run for President himself in 2016.

Either way, I will never vote for Christie if he is up for anything that I can vote on. He betrayed his party and a man he has endorsed, either through stupidity or for personal benefit.

  • @Soybomb,

While I agree Romney is not a small government hard right conservative, he was the clear choice in this election. It is not about the lesser of two evils, Obama has beliefs in policies that have not worked and will continue to not work for 4 more years. Now we are stuck with that fate. I sincerely hope that there are not enough conservatives who sat on their hands out there because they didn’t feel Romney deserved their vote. A sin of omission is still a sin. If you sat by and watched this reelection happen then you may as well have voted for Obama.

Any voters out there who voted for Johnson or some other candidate, unless you have a mental condition, you knew that the only person with a chance at victory was Romney. So your vote may as well have been for Obama, so for the next 4 years, as far as I am concerned, your President won and you should be nothing but happy. I voted for Romney but did not think he had a chance of winning. I live in Oklahoma and the bigotry towards Mormons is very real and widespread. I believe that our country is now more bigoted towards those of other faiths than we are of those of other races. So, in my mind, Romney was doomed from the beginning.

  • Great comment, and I am not being sarcastic. I think Christie was confused and was describing how to be popular in high school. Real leaders do the uncomfortable for the betterment of who they lead. Community organizers promise to give the masses what they want.

  • JROOK, you talk a lot about how Mormons aren’t Christian because they strayed from the true meaning of the trinity. So are you Catholic? If so, why do you not attack every other faith, outside of Catholicism. As far as history tells us, the Council of Nicaea decided for the entire world the nature of the Godhead through a vote. Which to me sounds like an odd way to come to a decision of that magnitude, but back to the point. The Catholic Church then seems to be the only church on the earth that is in fact Christian and has all the rights and privileges bestowed upon the true church of God. This being the case, every baptist, lutheran, seventh day adventist, non-denominational church out there should be subjected to the same attacks and prejudices that you bestow upon Mormons.

So why all the hate for Mormons?

  • Ridiculous. I don’t care how much you love Springsteen, the election is coming up and you are hurting your party and hurting the candidate you endorsed. Springsteen continues to use his fame to endorse the worst President in our country’s history. People boycott Walmart for less. And here we have one of the biggest names in the Republican Party basically saying he has a man-crush on the guy? Crying over a hug with him? And people on here making excuses for him? Makes no sense.
