  • KEATONC333,
You said, “However, everything you said contradicts the biblical teachings in Genesis and various other books. The universe as we know it is in strict contradiction of the Bible.”

    Not true!

For example, I have a book written in 1942 where cosmologists mocked the Bible where it describes the universe being stretched out like a tent fabric.

    Ps 104:1-2
“Bless the Lord, O my soul!
O Lord my God, you are very great!
You are clothed with splendor and majesty,
covering yourself with light as with a garment,
stretching out the heavens like a tent.”

The cosmologists wrote that with their “advanced” telescopes they had not seen any fabric in the heavens and those ancient old men writing in the Bible had no clue. Bear in mind scientists at that time had no knowledge of galaxies outside our own.

However, now cosmologists know that space-time is the invisible “tent” fabric of the universe. I suspect God was laughing at arrogant man’s ignorance looking through the very thing they claimed didn’t exist. View Brian Green’s “Fabric of the Universe” videos on PBS.

    Hebrews 11:3
“Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.”

  • On careful examination, atheists are typically found to really be agnostics. People tend to think everything evolved somehow, but they seem to make an exception for the physical laws. Where do all the physical laws come from that the universe obeys? Did those laws evolve? Why do those laws exist so as to allow the universe to exist?

When scientists examine the universe is detail, they are sometimes totally surprised. Some surprising discoveries over the last few decades are: time is quantized, extreme cold can cause particles to loose the property of locality, empty space is not nothing, the amount of zero-point energy in a cubic centimeter is unimaginably huge, the entanglement property of matter demonstrates infinite communication speed – not limited by the speed of light, the theory of black holes seems to show that everything we do is recorded and saved forever.

For the “atheists” out there, I show you a mystery. In this picture , why is the top of the mountain black? The answer is in the Bible in the book of Exodus.

    Proverbs 18:
2 A fool takes no pleasure in understanding,  but only in expressing his opinion.
13 If one gives an answer before he hears,  it is his folly and shame.
15 An intelligent heart acquires knowledge,  and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge.

Before you assert that God doesn’t exist, I strongly suggest that you truly examine

  • I haven’t yet seen “The Bible” on The History Channel. However, when I saw the promotional picture of the bleeding angel, I immediately knew the movie would be another distortion of God’s Word as is typical of the History Channel. The distorted impressions from the movie inserted into the minds of Biblically uninformed viewers will cause confusion and misunderstanding when they later actually read God’s Word. C’mon… angels bleeding?!?! What a distortion of God’s Word!

  • You wouldn’t have a problem with a uniformed police officer openly carrying a gun because you’ve grown accustomed to seeing it. Neither should you think it more unusual to see an armed citizen in public. It’s all about what you get accustomed to.

  • URRYBR,
    URRYBR,

The book of Enoch and the book of Jasher are not part of the 66 books of the Bible. Neither do they contain God’s digital signature. See the research by Dr. Ivan Panin to find out how God hid a mathematical signature in His Word much like our modern-day digital signatures. God embedded His signature throughout His Word in every one of the 66 books of the Bible so that you could trust that the books of the Bible were from Him. Therefore, beware that the books of Enoch and Jasher are not authored by the Holy Spirit.

  • …eal events.

  • A question for those who doubt the Bible: Have you seen the evidence?

There are a number of stories in the Bible that, at first, seem unbelievable. But when you do a little research, you might find evidence that the story describes a real event. For example, the story in Exodus 14 describing the parting of the Red Sea sounds like a fanciful fable. However, the evidence in photographs of Egyptian chariots and skeletal remains at the bottom of the Gulf of Aqaba suggests that it was a real event. See the evidence at
http://www.preteristarchive.com/Ancient_Revelations/epigraphy/egypt_exodus-crossing.html. Also see the photograph entitled “Jewish Progress 5″ on Google Earth at coordinates (29° 2’30.35″N, 34°46’33.05″E).

In Exodus 17:6, God told Moses to strike the rock of Horeb and water would come out of it. There was enough water to support over 2 million people and their cattle. See the Rock of Horeb at coordinates (28.723900, 35.235100). Note the water-flow wear pattern at the base of the split in the rock.

In Exodus 19, we read about how God was present on top of Mount Horeb (a.k.a. Mt Sinai). The power of God’s presence burned the top of the mountain. There is much more evidence available for those seeking the truth. Evidence suggest that the Bible stories are based on r
