‘What Law Would Have Stopped Adam Lanza?’: TheBlaze’s Will Cain Clashes With CNN Panel on Gun Control
December 19, 2012 at 3:29pm
Laws are for the law-abiding or the lawful. Those wanting to destroy life will always find a way to do so. Gun laws will only affect the rights and personal liberties of those who would lawfully own firearms. All the gun crime in Chicago, a large city with some of the strictest gun laws in the States, is perpetrated with guns carried and used illegally by the those perpetrating the crimes. Instead the focus following Sandy Hook should be the state of mental health care in this country. If you thought Obamacare was expensive, just wait.

@Marine25
Thank you for your service. You state that saying atheism is a religion is a farce and that it actually lessens any argument the theist may have. But the definition of religion would indeed include your views. There is a difference between a theist and a religious person. You may not want to admit it but there is. Your potential view of having all public and maybe private squares free of religious ‘items’ is a religious stance. It is based on beliefs, faith, that other people may or may not share with you. Just as many of us have faith in a supernatural power your faith that there isn’t one is also just that, faith. This young man was in several groups, faith based groups. And I am sorry to tell you that someone’s earlier comment about this young man potentially praying to God if he were about it be beheaded is often correct. Many people who say they are agnostic or atheists, when the time comes, do end up praying for their salvation. I have seen it on more than one occasion. So just as Christians have varying degrees of faith, or strength of faith, I guess atheist do also. Sounds an awful lot like religion to me.

Can You Solve the ‘World’s Hardest’ Sudoku? We Couldn’t
June 30, 2012 at 3:26pm
I love sudoku and am always up for a challenge. I solved this one in about an hour. The problem with this one is have to guess even to get it started. I had it almost finished when I noticed a mistake, erased about twenty numbers and went again. Yippeeee… Good stuff.
What Does George W. Bush Miss Most About Being President?
October 9, 2011 at 1:59pm
METALURGY, great commentary, I think you parrot what many of us feel. Althought GW had some great characteristics he still let us down, I think you forgot to mention Medicaire Part D for prescription drugs. This is a horrible unfunded mess, more socialism.
LIVECONSERVATIVE, Rick Perry does do some things that make him a RINO. First he typically campaigns as a far right conservative but doesn’t always legislate like one. The Gardasil debacle comes to mind first. Having the government tell parents that their daughters must be vaccinated is a big government move, there is no debate there. The fact that he allowed people to opt out doesn’t negate the bad move. He should have asked people to opt in, and since it would still be a move by the government I would still believe this to be a RINO move. But more important than this the illegal alien in-state tuition exemplifies his RINO-ism. That is akin to having a large sign over the Rio Grand that says in spanish, come on over we will pay for everything for you.
