  • To common sense, whether it is enforceable is a great question. The truth is, the mandate in 0bamacare is truly unconstitutional but it still is now a law. On the other hand, if a multitude of states pass such a law, maybe the elite will get the message. If not, maybe we will have to have an Article V amendment.

    To SEARCHER619, your scorn for people trying to stand up for the rights of citizens aside, congress can and has passed laws that violate our rights. The 1994 ban is one example. 0bamacare mandate was already mentioned. Prohibition violated our rights. Do you need more examples to get the point that, as you seem to understand already, Congress and apparently the president through executive orders can do whatever they want until we say “no”. In fact, there is a long history of executive orders that violate the constitution? Lastly, the supremacy is actually granted to the states or the people, not the federal government. The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.
