I think a bunch of scientists are looking for Federal Grants for job security.

So your idea of re-building America is to act like ISIS and burn everything down.

I personally think you have to try to educate the people and then have an honest election and go from there.

Which brings me to the point I tried to make earlier about Sen. McCain. McCain is a politician that uses the Republican brand.

if that is the basis of what a Republican is then count me out. I consider myself a conservative. A person that still believes in the Constitution and the founding Fathers.

I do know that keeping the Democrats in power is not the answer. I also know that under the current Republican leadership that it is only slowing the process down.

I can only suggest voting for the best Republican Candidate for the short term and hope we can replace the RINOS in future elections.

I do know that Sen. Cruz tried his best to filibuster this.

If there was someone in Congress where the Republicans have the majority had acted as strongly as Sen. Cruz then maybe this thing could have been stopped.

After re-reading my original post I do not think there is anything in what I said that is that difficult to understand.

It sort of makes me think you have a reading problem.

Actually no!. I already know what McCain is. I watched a segment on the Sean Hannity show where McCain an Lieberman were together and lauding each other.

I commented on it here because I wanted to.

  • [1] September 30, 2014 at 11:04pm can surmise all you want. I mainly wanted to make a statement on the topic that I just watched. I think that I am just fine. I made my point that I wanted to make about McCain.

Make of it what you choose.

  • [1] September 30, 2014 at 10:31pm

This may be off topic but the closest place I can find at the moment to comment. Sen. McCain and Joe Lieberman are on the Sean Hannity show.

Sean asked Sen. McCain if he seriously considered selecting Joe Lieberman as his running mate. He affirmed that he did. Joe Lieberman lost the Democratic nomination and ran as an Independent and won re-election.

Joe Lieberman still voted for the ACA as an Independent Senator. Joe Lieberman still supported the Health Care Act when he was free to vote the choice he so chose. He chose to stand with the Democrats.

If after this Sen. McCain still claims that he had serious considerations to choose Joe Lieberman as his running mate than what does that say about Sen. McCain?

Interesting. You state that the people replying are being sucked in by this story and I merely state that you may be wrong in your opinion. I only pointed out that the people responding seem to be divided in their opinions about this story and I get 2 thumbs down.

That is interesting. I have never had 2 negative replies before. Oh well. As they say, there is a first for everything.

You folks got sucked in by this story, that is amusing. When the truth comes out you folks will learn how he pulled the wool over your face. This is simply a cover story for himself and nothing more.
I don’t know about that. I have read as many comments that are skeptical as those that are approving.

It just proves that we all see things in a different light.

Our campaign process is corrupt all around. I am for punishing anyone that breaks the law. I even support punishment for the people in the IRS that used their office for corrupt purposes as well.

I also support jail time for those that use the excuse that my computer broke and all my emails were lost.

I worked in a small city that seemed to always have backups of all systems and all emails within the organization. I know this because when you were upgraded with a new computer you had all your files already set to download to your new computer.

I admit that I didn’t pay attention to Politics during that period. I only know that there were a couple of times during his Presidency that my pay check increased $10,00 a week after a tax cut.

During that era $10.00 was a big deal to me.

The Kurds seem to be one hell of a tribe of folks.
Too bad that George H.W. Bush pulled the rug out from under them, allowing Saddam Hussein to gas the heck out of the Kurds

The Iraqi no-fly zones were a set of two separate no-fly zones (NFZs), and were proclaimed by the United States, United Kingdom, and France after the Gulf War of 1991

The original intent of these zones was to protect the rebellious Iraqi minorities (Kurds and ****** Muslims) in northern and southern Iraq, respectively.

If you played on a football team and a Muslim teammate was killed, would you be ok about wearing a muslim star and crescent in his honor? If the answer is no, then please explain how it is not hypocritical to get angry that the cross was removed.
If the team wanted to honor this particular player and chose to do so then that is their choice and I would have no problem with it.

Just as the players on this team chose to honor their fallen comrades in this way which seems to offend atheists. Doesn’t matter to them that their determination to oppress the players choice might be offensive to them.

People should get over the hate and let people be free.

Why do you think I believe in nothing? I don’t need a God to enjoy life, to believe in the wonder of the world. To know love, pain and treat others with respect. No God is required to enjoy life. My life became 100% better after I left religion behind and became an atheist
It is good that you became a better person when you chose to leave religion behind. I fully support your right to your life style. I do find it sad that in your transformation that you have chosen to deny others their chosen beliefs.

If you have so much faith, why do you need to shove it down my throat and the throat of everyone else that doesn’t follow your religion? You think you are special, you think your God is the only one when there are over 8000 known God’s that man has worshiped but you think you have the right answer
If the players were the ones that wanted to honor these two people in this way how do you see it as forcing something down your throat. It appears that you are the one doing the forcing.

You take the position that you prefer forcing the team to abscond to your preferences and not giving them the opportunity to show their support to the fallen comrades.

In todays world every interview is set up for the sole purpose to generate some sort of controversy.
The questions are always about 1 of the 3 main topics. Race, Religion or Sexual Preference. If the
person gives the wrong answer then that individual will be the featured headlines for the next few

I understand that if a person has a new book out that they want the exposure but why would anyone in
todays world want to be interviewed by todays media. The theme of today is not to provide interesting
content but solely designed to generate some type of controversy.

It has become sickening to me!

Wow John, glad that you are so concerned about a persons well being. With all the problems that America is facing in these trying times it is good to know that you are so concerned about the fate of a convicted killer.

I wonder if you are as concerned about the fate of this USMC Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi and his well being as you are about this convicted killer.

I am aware that you are familiar with what torture is like considering your experience as a captured prisoner of war in Vietnam. That was over 40 years ago and you have spent the rest of your life as a US Senator and have been corrupted with a sense of entitlement ever since.

It is time for you to just go away.

So this Administration has determined that these people are now refugees and wants to protect them from gang violence. So glad that we don’t have gang violence here in our large cities.
