  • The Senator’s question demanded an honest answer, which ol’ Hill wouldn’t and/or couldn’t give. The only strategy left was to attack the question. Sometimes the only defense is a good offense. It worked. She didn’t give away anything that could be used against the administration. She’s got everybody unfocused and burning up their energy on side issues. With the total lack of journalism in this country to ask hard questions and focus the spotlight on the real issues, these folks will continue to do whatever the h*ll they want to, and we the sheeple will continue to baaaaa all the way to slaughter. The impotent Republicans continue to let out little whimpers now and again, just to put on a show that they are trying to change things but in the end, they are knocked down like sandcastles by the first wave of resistance they meet.

  • You and I are concerned with solving the problem of mass killings. We are mortified by the senseless killing of our precious children. However, those screaming for gun bans are not so concerned about such things. Either that, or they are so lacking in brain power that they can’t see the complete lack of logic in their arguments. Some of them are that challenged, but most just hate guns and see this as the main issue. It really isn’t about the kids at all. It is all about the guns. They just use the kids as a means to help magnify their emotions, which is what is most important to them. You and I can give them the best solutions to the mass murders, and all they care about is the guns, and the hate and fear that a gun makes them feel.. There is no reasoning with emotion. We are completely wasting our time.

  • Republicans are hated by the left because they are so badly portrayed by the MSM. Republicans are hated by the right because they are so frickin spineless and wishy-washy they won’t even stand up for themselves. If they would stop letting themselves be bullied by the media, they would get a lot more respect and support from “we the people”.

  • With the vast majority of the media working for Obama, the Republicans are pretty much SOL. Too many of us Americans are too lazy to look beyond what we see or hear on our favorite station or news show to realize there is a curtain to be looked behind. The vast majority of “journalists” are not, to this country’s very great detriment. I fear we are going to sink into the black waters of history before enough of us wake up to the real direction that “Forward” is going.

  • Penn Jillette Weighs in on ‘The War on Christmas’

The argument I hear from the atheists is that they feel as though they are being pressured to believe something they don’t. In response, they scream loudly that those that believe should not, and to have any public display of belief should not be allowed. Isn’t that exactly the opposite side of the same coin they are complaining about ( i.e. – you aren’t allowed to believe what you believe, you have to believe what I believe!) ? If my Christmas tree or decorations make you have that large of an emotional reaction, I’m thinking you have issues within yourself that you need to work out. Please, leave me and my Christmas tree out of your issues.

  • The past two elections have seen the electorate put in place a president with absolutely no actual substance to his campaign. The second time, the only substance was that he was a bad president the first term, yet he was re-elected. I fear the only message that will ever get through to those who voted for Mr. Obama is when their check doesn’t show up because the government can’t pay it. Even then, they are so well conditioned they will believe it is because the great evil industrial complex is conspiring to make the government look bad. I fear we are well and truly screwed. I weep for the future of my children…..

  • Report: U.S. Health Care System Wastes $750B Every Year

You hit the nail on the head. Any serious attempt at healthcare reform has to start with the lawyers because the system now spends much more time and money worrying about the lawyers and much too little time worrying about the patient. Of course, Obamacare was never about improving healthcare. It is all about government control of healthcare.

  • Where is my successful business? I went to public schools. I use the roads. Isn’t that all it takes to be a successful business owner? C’mon Obama, quit holding out on me!

  • From the start, the reporting on this incident was calculated to inflame racial tensions. From the prepubescent picture of a sweet, young kid rather than a current picture of Martin, to a description of Zimmerman as a white-Hispanic (first time I ever saw a description like that). So it isn’t any surprise to see more manipulation of the facts. My question is, why isn’t this manipulation a criminal manner, just as yelling fire in a crowded theater would be. The intent in both cases is the same…to cause harm.

Or, we could look at it more cynically as a way for the press to aid Obama to get re-elected: Create emotional issues that distract people from the real issues of the crappy economy, crappy jobs market, crappy leadership, unbelievable corruption, and on, and on…….This issue polarizes people along racial lines. Make it look like whitey just wants to keep the black man down and Obama gets back the black voters that had decided he wasn’t the right guy for the job. Get those folks emotionally fired up and they are more likely to vote with their race and emotion than with their brain. Obama got voted in the first time on emotion, and they (MSM) are working hard to get the emotion working for Obama again. He sure can’t get re-elected on anything else…….
