  Maybe we should do away with Hollywood. Where else can anyone be exposed to soo much violence short of being in a war zone!
  I’d like to know if there has ever been any studies done to see if there is a correlation between the advancement of Progressivism and violent crime. As many have stated before, there was a time when you would see rifles on racks in pickup trucks and glass cases for show in your home with no fear they would be stolen.

  WOW, it probably took the last 10 brain cells left in Carrey’s head to write such a witty and satirical 3 paragraphs and 1 sentence. With such rapier wit I don’t know if I can contain myself. I believe the last time I was exposed to such wisdom was 3rd, maybe 4th grade.

  This gentleman is right, a gun is an offensive weapon. It is also a defensive weapon. Like any “tool” it is the application that defines the tool. His premise is incorrect when he states for his officers it is an offensive tool. If his premise is true, his officers should be allowed to shoot people before a crime has been committed.
