I’ve worked in the hospital labor and delivery area for 20 years. Women die in the hospital in childbirth too. Women are having homebirths all over the world and some will die there as well. It’s just a fact of life. Being in a hospital is not a guarantee of life. For you OR your baby. Sad that she died.

I’ve been involved with labor and delivery for 20 years. It is very important for parents to hold and visit with their stillborns – part of the mourning process. If parents didn’t want to they were not forced, but we still cleaned the body, wrapped it in blankets and took pictures and footprints for the parents to look at when they felt ready.
You don’t run out the back and first bury the dead…. as Eliasim has said.
There is a time to mourn… and siblings of the deceased should also be given time to see and make peace with the passing of a family member. It helps prevent the imagination to make the “dead baby” into some kind of monster. If children (even parents) don’t see the baby, the imagination takes over.
I’m going to guess they didn’t take it home to “play with it” or “kind of sleep with it” as Roninson and Colmes had said.
Enough already – They lost a baby. Leave it alone….!

I totally agree. Also, if you do choose to use your guarantee of “free speech”, you should be prepared to face the consequences if what you chose to say is highly offensive or hurtful. The right of “free speech” does not guarantee that you won’t be clocked for it…!

Cowboy stadium is air conditioned, folks…. It has a retractable roof. We should be fine and BO free.

We have our liberal pockets in Texas. Austin, Houston, and Dallas to name a few. I’d be all for secession, but we might have to disinvite some folks in these places… They’d fit in better in California or in the North East.

I was also kinda wondering about a weekend field trip to … the MALL? Lots of great educational opportunites there. Maybe a self defense class? More appropriately a self offense class….?
