  • Well, clicked on your link and went nowhere – this is what I try to tell people – socialism never works LOL!!

  • ..Lastly, this whole “tiered” program is no different than the program now… Call it what it is… It is a PROGRESSIVE tax structure based on a stupid thought of 1$ is more valuable to a poor person than to a rich person… ** To OBAMA_SHAM: Believe me that $1.00 is much more valuable to me than to someone making twice as much. If I make $2000.00 a month and my rent is $1000.00 a month – I have $1000.00 to live on – paying for groceries, utilities, gasoline, and the list goes on . . .And let’s say the next guy makes $3000.00 a month and pays $1000.00 in rent . plus all normal typical living expenses. Just who do you think is going to be hurt more by an increase of a tax?
This is why I am in favor of the Fair Tax, as opposed to the Flat Tax. The Fair tax (consumption tax) may sound high at 23% – but it is a tax I can control. If I don’t have the money to pay taxes this month – I just don’t buy anything. (exemptions are written in for groceries)
I also don’t agree that progressive taxation is appropriate. I don’t believe that because someone has been able to get a higher paying job he should be penalized for that.
I believe medical care should be a “for-profit” system. I do not want a doctor to attend to me who hasn’t fought like he** to succeed and be the best of his class.
If you’re ever face to face with one of these students who want free medicine – just ask them why they’re attending college? Is it to get a better, higher paying job? If so, they’re

  • Just what law did he think he was above – he had a few members over to his home – a private home.

  • There is accusation in this blog that this family disrupted the neighborhood with their Christian meetings – that the accusations against them are not really caused by holding Bible classes in their homes.
Well, that doesn’t hold water for me HPYAGL. Please share the news source that you acquired this information – I couldn’t find it.
If a person is having such a party that the neighbors are disturbed, the charges against them would be disturbing the peace – not having too many people in the house, etc. Yes, a person can go to jail for disturbing the peace – and they can be made to pay fines, etc. The law has a lot of teeth to take hold and punish a property owner. Why would they need to start looking at housing and zoning laws.
The issue is more likely that some idiot liberal aetheist lives next door and can’t stand the idea that this man may be spreading the word of Christ.
Where’s Governor Jan Brewer in all this?

  • I think it’s a good thing – the more people who come out against obama, the better. And although I don’t weigh Mrs. Pitt’s opinions any more strongly than I weigh my own, or the next guy’s, some people think that anyone who has anything to do with Hollywood is absolutely royalty – those are the ones we have to get to.
    So kudos to Jane.

  • wow, I’m so impressed with Verce…Reason’s response – I’m just confounded by the intelligence of it all

  • TECHENGINEER
You sure are able to blame people. Wow, I’m a baby boomer and I felt like my a** was on fire after reading your clip.
In defense of my age group – yes we sure do have some idiotic people. However, 3/4′s of the people in my age group that I am friends with are conservatives. And in defense of ME, my daughter and her husband are also very conservative. So stop the generalizing shi** You sound more like a progressive than a conservative.
Parents definitely do need to school their children more in the ways of the world, meaning politics. But even the great spokesman, Churchill, had a saying, and I apologize that I’m not quoting him exactly “Those who are young and are not liberal, have no heart. Those who have aged and are not conservative, have no brains”
Who we have to fight are the sheople who are told they have to be a Democrat. And they believe everything the main-stream media says. I work with a woman, a very nice and generous woman. If you engage her in conversation you’ll believe she is of a conservative nature. But the minute you talk politics with her – she is so staunch Democrat that it’s scary. And she gets adamant about hating Republicans . . . I don’t know how she feels today, but at the 2008 election she was all for obama, biden, and even said she liked pelosi. Just makes my head spin.
The media has snuck up on us and now telling lies is the norm. If you want to hate – hate the media, now the baby boomers.

  • I’ve read some blogs on this page – I would definitely like to believe that there are some people who are independent from oil and fossil fuels to power their homes. However, how much did they have to spend to get enough solar and/or wind power for just the daily necessities of living?
The upstart costs are prohibitive, or believe me, more people would change over. Why do you think there are so few “green” companies actually making it financially, without the millions/billions of dollars of bail outs? It is just too expensive for the average person to modify their home.
I’m glad Carney pushed the wrong button – I’m hopeful that she pushed the wrong button on purpose, then lied about it so as not to instil the wrath of the progressives – she probably knows the importance of the oil industry to her state.

  • Yeah BLUEDOG let’s just control everything and everyone we can – after all, if they’re too stupid to take care of their own life – we must ask BIG BROTHER to do it for them. Not everyone has a gambling problem – so why take away the choice from someone who can control theirself? You’re a good liberal.

  • A blogger has stated already seeing people believing they now get free medical care, calling into the doctor’s office asking about it. I would love to have heared both sides of that phone call.
I wonder about the woman who said she didn’t have to worry any longer about her house payment, or putting gas in her car…is she still an obama supporter?
Unfortunately, she probably is. That is where an honest media could come in handy – letting people know the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Instead we are presented a slanted view on everything – unless you listen to Fox or talk radio.
And I can understand where the less educated are so prone to believe in, and even hold onto the idea of a better tomorrow, with the help of the government – but what I just can’t understand, and will not forgive, are the people who are supposedly educated but will not learn from history that tells us that socialism DOES NOT WORK
And I cannot forgive the people who voted obama in because of his color – but say that the reason we want him out now is because we are racists.
But hang in there – there is hope. When I heard the SCOTUS decision I almost cried and I was very depressed. I felt I had been stabbed in the back again – first when obama care was passed, and now when it was considered legal – because it was not a mandate but now a tax – even though obama and all his cronies in congress said it was not a tax.
Time to get out in hordes and vote these criminals out of office.
