  • The worshippers’ response to the would-be suicide bomber wasn’t excessive.

The Blaze deleted most of my comments from yesterday anyway, but you still fail to see my point, and honestly, I really don’t ever expect you to, nor do I care. Yes, I’ve been in dangerous situations… before anyone claims I haven’t. I know what it’s like, blah blah blah. However, I wasn’t about to stick around to see what kind of weapon my would-be robber had. I also didn’t have a friend to help me beat the **** out him if I ever did disarm him. By the way, Illinois has no CCW. I couldn’t have carried to defend myself anyway. I suppose you’d feel like a big man overpowering a 125lb woman too, I bet.

So whatever. Say what you want, you’re no better than the criminal, in my opinion.

  • It’s gotta mean something when your own family won’t vote for you, but instead supports Ron Paul:

I like the response: “It’s a phase…. I love my nephew; I’ve got 35 nieces and nephews…. 1 out of 35 isn’t bad…” So what you’re saying is, Rick, is you only love 1 of the 35, and that 1 doesn’t support you at that.

  • @Nervous: The guy was atheist, not Christian. The magistrate was completely in the wrong.

  • This is pathetic. First, the idea, back in 2011, was that if Ron Paul didn’t get the nominee this year, he’d then run as a third-party candidate… but Ron Paul said that was not his intent, and in any event, such action would ‘split the vote and insure Obama gets another four years’. He was castigated for it.

Now, you have the GOP itself calling for a new candidate, and Jon Huntsman out there making noises about there needing to be a third party.

So it was shameful for Ron Paul to think in that direction, but now that it’s someone else, hey it might not be a bad idea after all….

    Hypocrites… politicking… pathetic.

  • I agree with you, however, they seemed cool enough when they asked the man if he was going to try and rob them with a BB gun.

  • @Air: So you don’t think Paul’s concern is winning hearts and minds? I beg to differ, and I don’t see how continuing to press for support for your candidate is cheating. After all, you have to show up to be elected a delegate for your candidate. Do you honestly think that Ron Paul is going to attempt any kind of voter fraud, when his supporters are calling for investigations in Maine? I don’t know, it really seems very unlike Dr. Paul to shoot himself in the foot like that.

  • I have been(almost) held up….. I’ve been trying to respond but Blaze keeps deleting my comments… because I’m not a bloodthirsty degenerate, apparently.

I didn’t stick around to see what exactly the person was pulling out from under their hoodie….

  • You are correct, in your hypothesis. The problem is, I’m not speaking hypothetically. It looks as if the only person that got hurt was the robber. All I said(before Blaze deleted it) was that I didn’t necessarily agree with the excessive force that followed, after the threat was neutralized. I’ve been in similar, if not exactly the same, situations. At least the patrons of the bar knew what weapon their robber had. I never knew what weapon the robber who attempted to rob my hotel had.

  • Oh. I get it. You can’t say on the Blaze that you abide by the 2nd amendment. That’s why my posts are getting deleted. I see now.

  • Oh, I forgot to comment on the gym guy… A chair to the head sounds good. Folding chair, like WWE.
