This story reminds me of a service club saying of years ago. An old saying about service clubs that speaks to this occasions. The Rotary Club own the town and writes checks for their service project, The Kiwanian Club run the town and collect the checks for their service project. As a youth growing up in the 50′s I never knew that hurricanes were anyplace but the east coast. Then in the mid 60′ on they seemed to hit the Gulf coast. Weather is cyclical, the records show this better than the bunk of global warming.
